My passion for the arts made me work on a master’s thesis that aimed to create a relationship between architecture, cinema and utopian literature. My intend was to understand the importance of a clear idea of a “better place”, both in its spatial and social aspects, as a guiding line for the architect’s work. The analysis made me go deep into the socialist ideology and its repercussions in the works of the mastermind of the City Garden Movement, Hebenezer Howard, and in the ideas of the french visionary architect Tony Garnier.
