Mary Jean AndersonOwner/President
Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air
Mary Jean attributes much of her professional success to the skills she gained as a Girl Scout. She trained as a nurse before moving into the business world. The award-winning company she founded in 1978 now has more than 170 employees who specialize in residential plumbing and heating/air conditioning installation/repairs. Mary Jean is a major supporter of the local Susan G. Komen chapter and a national leader for Troops to Trades, a program that helps veterans train for careers in the skilled trades.
Marcela CelorioConsul General of Mexico in San Diego
An attorney with master’s degrees in diplomatic studies and security and defense, Marcela has spent 18 years with the Mexican Foreign Service. She was appointed consul general by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto. Her former positions include chief of staff at the Mexican Embassy in Washington D.C. and deputy consul at the Consulate General of Mexico in New York. She was posted to Israel as chief of mission and served as counselor for political affairs for Belgium at the Mexican Embassy, and at the Mexican Mission for the European Union.

Carol started a grassroots women’s movement on the San Diego State campus as a 21-year-old student and, soon thereafter, co-founded the nation’s first women’s studies program. She also created a center devoted to ending relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice. For 20 years she was executive director of the organization, now known as The Center for Community Solutions. She is devoted to Hearts of Baja, a group that helps provide food and other resources for orphans in Rosarito.

She has three locations in San Diego County and is expanding nationally via a licensing model. Her goal is to support more than 20,000 women in the launch and growth of their business … all by 2020. Felena is a published author, former teacher and international speaker.
