Sushi Day Lunch Menu
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Our students have been very busy over last two weeks.
The Walk to School October finished and my thanks to
the teachers and parents for supporting this concept of
encouraging our students to walk to school.
They also participated in the one day one song concept
and we had many parents watch our students sing ‘Let
Me Paint You a Song’ with many students from around
Australia. Many thanks to Ms Vance for preparing the
students so well both with singing and the instrumental
work.
We also had the Gladstone Views Health Fair where
our Grade 5/6 students ran workshops for both students
and parents across the school. They were supported by
Mr Fitman. It was a great success.
Canteen price list has been circulated this week. We
will continue to update the menu as well as hold
special luncheon days. These days have been hugely
successful. We will continue to modify the menu items
over the next six months and update you on TIQBIZ,
so stay tuned.
Have a great week
Michael West

SPORTS NEWS
District Cricket Gala Day Friday 31st October was a spectacular day for our students to take part in the District Cricket Gala day. This year we fielded 3 teams (2 Boys’ teams and 1 Girls’ team). All team members made the commitment to train on a regular basis to further develop the skills required to play the game. The students are to be commended on their good behaviour and outstanding sportsmanship.
The results for the teams are as follows: Girls: Won 2 games and drew a game against Aitken College
Boys Team 1: Won 3 of their games
Boys Team 2: The boys didn’t manage a win but their bowling and fielding skills were of a high standard.
A very special thank you to Mr Guglielmini who took many of the training sessions and coached the Girls’ team on the day. Also to Miss Johnson who assisted with training on Wednesdays.

On the bus was a little long but finally we got there. We had a little snack and we looked at the castle and it was Jack and the Beanstalk. There was a wishing well and it was fun. We went to the gate and we looked at Goldilocks and we also saw the Three Little Pigs.
Noel – Prep C
On Friday we went to the Fairy Park. We had a snack when we got there. Then we went for a walk. We saw Puff and sat on Puffs feet and we took some photos. Then we saw Rapunzel and then we saw Snow White. Then we came back.
