Welcome to Glasgow Youth Film Festival 2019. We are a group of young programmers, aged from 15 to 19, and we cannot wait to share our festival with you. We’ve been working hard all summer to put together a fantastic weekend and we’re sure that you’ll have as much fun at the festival as we’ve had organising it. This year’s GYFF takes you on a trip around the world. We’ll be visiting France with Stars by the Pound, Norway with Phoenix and Canada with Drag Kids. We’ve also got some modern classics in there too, Coraline, Fantastic Mr Fox and finishing up our festival with the Closing Gala Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Plus, if you’re interested in filmmaking, we’ve got two workshops and interviews with some of the stars of our films. You’re in for a great weekend and we can’t wait to see you there!
