to the left of the veiled chalice and paten, but resting at least in part upon the corporal. *AT THE END OF THE 1st SERVICE: Reverently clean up the chalice and cruet, disposing of the rinse water/blood on the ground outside. Leave the reaming individual cups for the second service. Then set up the altar as at the beginning of first service, with the exception of not refilling the individual cups. (There are days we end up needing more elements and/or individual cups though.) Leave the wine container sitting on top of the chest and a roll of hosts likewise on the top. Easy access cuts down the amount of time needed by Pastor to replenish the supply. NEVER replenish any supplies from the sacristy during the service. Tell Pastor if we are out and he will go in and consecrate whatever else we need to complete the service. At the end of second service be sure to reverently clean everything up, including the empty individual cups, again dumping the rinse water/blood on the ground outside. Soak the soiled purificator(s), and corporal if soiled too, in cold water in one of the white plastic tubs. Ring dry soiled purificator(s) in same white plastic tub & lay purificator(s) on counter, dump rinse water/blood on the ground outside.
