Dear Families,
Congratulations to all the Year 5 students who presented their school leaders speeches at Monday’s assembly. The votes have been counted and our leaders will be announced at school presentation day on Tuesday 13th December at 10am.
Guide dogs NSW have chosen GHPS to be the school used in their new T.V. advertisement. This will be filmed this term or early next year. Only students in school uniform will be chosen to participate.
Please remember every child should be at school, in class, in uniform every day. Our uniform is very simple and inexpensive. We subsidise every red top and green hoodie by 50% to keep costs down for you.
Girls: Red school Polo top and green skort.
Boys: Red school Polo top and grey shorts.
A bucket hat every day.
Thank you to those students who proudly wear their uniform each day.
Swimming school began yesterday in beautiful weather. Over this fortnight we will see big improvements in the swimming of students in Years 2,3 and 4.
This week we welcome back Mrs Brill who has been relieving at Cargo Public School.

Star of the Week: Skyla Muggleton I am good at listening and doing maths at school. When I grow up I want to be a teacher so I can teach children to read. My friends are my whole class. KM is the best ever class to be in because I love my teachers.

Playgroups are a great opportunity to meet other families. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Livingstone on 0401 004 092 or just turn up. Everyone is welcome to join in.
Transport NSW have advised that any student with an expiring bus pass at the end of 2016 should apply to update their details prior to 31 December 2016. This applies to all students who are:
Currently in year 2 or year 6
Have changed school
Have approval on special circumstances
