BACKGROUNDThe eRezeki sustainability plan has been presented and approved by the YABPrime Minister during the 28th MSC Malaysia Implementation Council Meeting(ICM).
The ICM decisions:• Scale up current pilot, targeting
1. Unemployed / Underemployed
2. Graduating Students3. Retrenched Workers
• Strategy:1. Collaboration with HRDF for Retrenched Workers
2. Training be incorporated in IHLs as elective course for students
Pilot in 2016 proved:
Skilled and qualified Malaysians able toearn digital income.
Successful Malaysian digital workers inglobal crowdsourcing platforms.
eGHI programme focus in 2016
eGHI module used in pilot to be enhanced based onMalaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) standards andrequirements for MQA accreditation.
MQA accreditation enable eGHI module as elective courseat selected public HLIs, and subject within a course

WAY FORWARD
1. Meeting with Tan Sri KSU Minister of Higher Education (MOHE) to formalize implementation of eGHI elective
subject at public HLIs.
2. Finalization of enhanced eGHI modules as elective subject at public HLIs.
3. The eGHI programme to become one of the elective subject to all public HLIs in 2017 (March and September
intake).
4. Expected income earned by students minimum RM500 / semester will be part of the course assessment.
5. TOT session with Master Trainers for selected lecturers will be conducted in February 2017 (date to be
confirmed).

Digital Workforce
Definisi: konsep pekerjaan baharu yang menawarkan kerja kepada
penyumberan luar iaitu kumpulan orang dalam bentuk panggilan
terbuka melalui web based platform. Konsep crowdsourcing
mengunakan elemen Digital Workforce sebagai tenaga kerjanya.
Pekerja yang banyak mempraktikkan kemahiran digital yang fleksibel
dan agile menggunakan teknologi dan alat teknikal berkaitan dalam
tugasan harian. Pengunaan teknologi meliputi telefon mudah alih pintar,
komputer dan lain2 teknologi mudah alih.
Kerja juga kebanyakannya berbentuk Expert task yang memerlukan
kemahiran pengkomputeran tertentu seperti analisis data, aplikasi
mudah alih dan reka cipta laman sesawang.

I. Digital Workforce merupakan satu konsep pekerjaan berorientasikan
ICT yang diterap bertujuan untuk melengkapkan Agenda
Transformasi Negara ke arah negara berpendapatan tinggi
menjelang 2020.
II. Selari dengan misi UiTM kearah Universiti berteraskan
Penyelidikan dan Keusahawanan, Digital Workforce dilihat
signifikan bagi melahirkan graduan yang mampu bekerja sendiri
(self-employability graduates) sekaligus mencapai sasaran KPI UiTM
yang telah ditetapkan.
III. Pemilihan UiTM sebagai universiti rintis dalam menjadikan Digital
Workforce sebagai salah satu kursus elektif program atau universiti
dapat meningkatkan imej UiTM sebagai pakar rujuk bidang.
IV. Peluang berkerja sendiri melalui pelbagai crowdsourcing platform
dapat meningkatkan peratusan kebolehpasaran graduan UiTM.

• Penambahan kursus elektif baru Digital Workforce sebagai salah satu
kursus elektif universiti di dalam pelan pengajian program yang
terpilih. Justeru itu, semakan program perlu dibuat bagi memastikan
kursus ini memenuhi Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) masing-
masing.
• Keperluan penyediaan kemudahan pengajaran yang meliputi
kelas, makmal dan kemudahan Internet berkelajuan tinggi di fakulti
dan kampus terpilih.
• Tiada implikasi kewangan kerana menggunakan tenaga pengajar dan
fasiliti sedia ada.
• Keperluan latihan ToT adalah sepenuhnya dibawah tajaan MDEC yang
meliputi kos material, tenaga pengajar, penginapan, tempat dan
kemudahan pengajaran.
