The GTP community will achieve this through: Introducing flexible scheduling to enable community members to have more shared time for planning and to maximize student learning through innovative and non-traditional scheduling. Implementing Apple Challenged-Based Learning (CBL) , with learning tasks that are authentic and based on real-world problems. CBL allows students to engage with issues critically, gives students choice, and creates a role for teachers as facilitators . Individualizing learning plans and goals for each student. Continuing to hone in on and perfect Tony Wagner’s 21 st Century skills through digital portfolios for every student. Extending the learning day to 6:00 P.M for each student to engage in college and career exploration . Graduating learners prepared for traditional as well as online learning environments .
