Our production process is designed for the convenience of our customers:

High performance and reduced emissions

Reliable Power Management Systems (PMS) are critical for optimal use of the onboard diesel generators on any kind of vessel. Power Management Systems ensure optimal and safe operation of the generators, and reduce the need for costly maintenance and repair work. This means in lower diesel consumption, reduced operating cost and reduced NOx/CO2 emissions.

GMC World Wide Services is conscious of our customers’ need for timely services. Faulty generator switching or onboard power breakdown can be critical and costly. We give our customers highest priority, with efficiency in all the involved logistical steps.

GMC World Wide Services has positive experience using PMS from DEIF in Denmark. Putting heavy load on a few generator engines rather than easy load on several engines is fuel-efficient. This makes the DEIF systems our choice for more stable operating conditions with improved system reliability.

SavingsGMC World Wide Services collaborates with market leaders in every technical discipline. Modern power management systems installed by GMC World Wide Services offer the following advantages to our customers:

• Improved running load parameters giving higher reliability• Less engine hours – longer service intervals• Lower fuel consumption• More cost efficient operations• Reduced emissions

Nils Askjer, DEIF Norway

GMC World Wide Services - a trusted partnerAs a trusted supplier of PMS systems we need to cooperate with trustworthy integrators to perform the onboard installation. Our ambition is to deliver the best, safest and most fuel-efficient PMS system, and we have seen that GMC World Wide Services definitely is able to do this kind of job. Different challenges have strengthened our cooperation, and together we always meet our customer needs and fulfil their requirements and wishes.

Over a period of two weeks, GMC World Wide Services and its partner DEIF managed to complete a new Power Management System (PMS) giving permanent cost reductions onboard the rig Polar Pioneer.

Reduced consumption anddischarge with new PMS

During a different commission on the rig Polar Pioneer, GMC World Wide Services was awarded the duty to install a new Power Management System (PMS). The duty had to be completed in two weeks – a close to impossible deadline.

GMC World Wide Services recommended Delomatic 4 from Deif. The hardware was delivered after two days, and the wiring job was completed within ten days. The installation was ready in less than 14 days for the last phase of commissioning and approval by DNV, a job performed by technicians from GMC in collaboration with system technicians from Deif in Denmark.

Polar Pioneer monitors the fuel consumption every 24-hours period. A day after start-up of the new Delomatic 4 Power Management system, the log showed a sudden considerable reduction in consumption. The reduction proved to be permanent and the rig could book a large saving in fuel and environmental fees. Less engine hours have also reduced the need for costly maintenance.

Delomatic 4 has, according to engineer Øyvind Bjørløw onboard Polar Pioneer, secured a more even distribution of power production from the diesel generators which now operate more stable and efficient than before.
