In National Football League (NFL) pro shops, every home game is like Black Friday

with a limited amount of time to sell as much merchandise as possible. Fans get

frustrated with long lines, and the teams know that long lines sometimes deter

shoppers entirely, or force others to walk out of the store after waiting too long.

The Solution:

To meet this challenge, the Seattle Seahawks deployed Honeywell's Captuvo

SL22 sleds, which transform the Apple iPod touch into a mobile retailing tool

that can speed up transaction time and increase associate productivity. With the

fast and efficient barcode scanning and payment processing capabilities of the

Captuvo SL22, the pro shop reported record sales with virtually no lines during

the season's grand opening event.
