One thing I forgot to mention last weekend, that when it comes to our hopes and dreams, they are OUR hopes and dreams, not somebody else’s who will do the work. So if you add them to the list it is important that YOU be willing to play your part in making them a reality. Therefore, add your hopes for our parish, add your dreams for a faith-filled future, and remember that your hopes and dreams will become a reality when YOU make it happen. God bless, Fr John BAPTISMS AT JIMBOOMBA At odd times, baptisms may come in to take place at St Catherine’s. When that happens, the most suitable time to celebrate them will be at the Sunday evening Mass. Hopefully, you will be alerted to the fact well before the event There is a Baptism coming up in the next few weeks and further information to follow. BEAUDESERT PARISH. I have been appointed part-time administrator of Beaudesert Parish for the next few weeks, until FR Kevin Njoku arrives to take up his appointment as Parish Priest around 16th June. This may require my involvement in Beaudesert during that time, to assist with the management of the parish. Hopefully this extra administration will not affect my responses to the needs of Regents Park parish. DEAN OF LOGAN DEANERY Archbishop Coleridge through Monsignor Meneely has decided to appoint me as the next Dean of the Logan deanery following he work that Fr Michael McKeaton had done during his time as Dean, and I am grateful to Michael for what he had done. With the multi-talented priests active within the Deanery, I was somewhat surprised at my appointment, but am willing to respond to the invitation and to the needs for the Deanery. May God guide me though the challenges ahead. Gathering: GA 390 Hail Redeemer, King Devine Psalm Let all the earth cry out to God with joy Response: Recessional : GA 447 We Walk By Faith
