• Really hard to define God

• No one has succeeded

Religion has many positive & negative

effect

Classified in three basic categories:

polytheistic, pantheistic & monotheistic

Polytheistic

A belief in many God

Pantheistic

A belief that all is God

Monotheistic

A belief in one God

•Atheists

• “A Person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as god, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable , or that human knowledge is limited to experience.”

Proof for Existence of God

• .Bible says God exists

• There many logical arguments

Ontological argument.

The concept of God to prove God’s existence

Teleological argument

There must have been a divine Designer

Cosmological argument

Every effect must have a cause.

Atheists

• Atheism is a faith/ worldview that denies the existence of any supernatural deity.

• “A” ( No) “ theism” (god)

Main reasons why atheists do not believe in any god

Contradictory characteristics in gods.

There is so much evil in the world today. If there are any

gods, why don't they act to eliminate it?

Existence of God would not help us decide which

religion was true.

Conclusion

whether you are a atheist or a theist

Theist has better arguments and they are more

likely to be true.
