    1. On an average, a parent spends around Rs. 8 lacs on the

    education of their child for simple graduation (from 1st to

    Graduation) without even being 10% sure whether this is being

    spent in the right direction2. As per a report in TOI, 46% students change their subjects in

    graduation from what they did in their 10+2. This does not

    include the dropouts who quit after 10+2.

    3. On an average, 38 students commit suicide EVERYDAY due toeducation/exam related stress. And these are just the reported

    figures.

    Dr. Roger W. Sperry

    In 1960, Dr. Roger W. Sperry and his colleagues carried out a

    studies on Left and Right hemisphere phenomena.

    The results of this study later led to Roger Sperry being

    awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1981.

    The study demonstrated that the left and right hemispheresare specialized in different tasks.

    Further, in 1986, Dr. Rita Levi_Montalcini and Dr. Stanley

    Cohen were awarded the Nobel Prize for their ground-breaking research which established the co-relation between

    Nerve Growth Factor and Epidermal Growth Factor which

    forms the scientific basis of the study of Dermatoglyphics in its

    present form.
