Introduction of the product Galileo Czech and Slovak Republic in co-operation with a programming company “IDC-Softwarehouse” are proud to present you a unique solution Galileo On-line - a brand new system for booking of air travel and other travel services. By means of Galileo On-line you can offer your clients the following services:

- Air transport - Accommodation - Insurance - Any other services according to your claims and proposals

What are the advantages of Galileo On-line?

How does Galileo On-line works? The solution consists of three basic function parts: Internet shop (so called Front End), composed from all functionalities that can be used by the client in order to choose and reserve the services via agency web pages. This Internet shop is accessible for all users by means of Internet. Automatic operator is a hidden executive base of the application. It is connected to the distribution/reservation systems and other information sources. The automatic operator processes information from the systems and prepares the outputs that are to be displayed. By this means it works out all requests of the clients entered into the system through the Internet shop. Back office enables the agency not only to operate with all information about clients and commission sales but also to monitor all reservation details and adjust the parameters of Galileo On-line. This part is accessible for authorized agency staff only.

What is the license policy of Galileo On-line? The application is divided into two basic versions according to the agency sales objectives: The LITE version includes a full-bodied Internet reservation system that completes requirements for air tickets and other travel services sale through Internet shop. The STANDARD version is a modifiable (extensible) version of the system with a possibility to integrate various additional functionalities. This can be done by means of ready-made Modules and customized changes of design and functionalities.

Module Special Offer The Special Offer module enables agencies to highlight special offer prices by displaying them on a web page


Furthermore it enables booking thanks to a simplified search process.

Module Commissionable Sales This module provides our customers with the possibility of creating a network of its own commissionable dealers who use the application via their own www sites however all the reservations will be actually be owned by the mother agency and will remain its property. It means that the agency (our customer) is able to place its own (special) offers and the complete internet business on www sites of other partners and on any major internet portals. For those individual dealers the level of commission can be set independently for each individual dealer. The back office of „Commissionable Sales“ module enables the agency not only to monitor all its reservations, but the system itself provides the recognition sorted by individual dealers and the agency can receive a completed and transparent summary for accounting and sales analysis purposes.

Module Hotels – Octopus Using this module agency provides its clients with the possibility to search and book accommodation in the Octopus/GTA database. This unique database collects accommodation capacity for favourable prices in 23 000 accommodation facilities within 112 countries and 4 000 world cities. Galileo On-line Hotels Octopus Powered can be delivered separately without air ticket part of Galileo On-line.

Statistics of reservations The statistics of reservations are used in order to have precise information about sales, number of active and paid reservations, ticketed flight tickets etc. In the same time it enables you to make lists of dealers and clients. Statistics are the following:

- Clients’ bookings – monitor concrete registered clients and the number of flight tickets, accommodation and insurance bookings made. This is monitored together with the date of last reservation.

- Flight ticket reservations according to time period – monitors and summarizes the amount of segments, prices and fees for booked flight ticket.


- Flight ticket bookings according to dealers – statistics focused on the assessment of dealers’ performance - Flight ticket bookings according to airlines – monitors the amount of reservations and number of used

segments depending on airlines.

Additional data sources integration Galileo On-Line in its Standard version is ready for customization of design and functionalities based on agency requirements. In addition to this GOL Standard is open for additional data sources as well and if it is technologically feasible, we are ready to integrate them into your GOL implementation.
