Once upon a time there three bears. Father Bear, Mother
Bear and Baby Bear.
One day, after making their porridge, they decided to
go for a walk in the forest.
A little girl named Goldilocks was also out walking in the forest.
Goldilocks walked further than she had ever walked and came
across a house she had not seen before.

She went inside and saw the porridge on the table. The
porridge in the first bowl was too hot.
Next, she went into the living room to rest. She tried the first chair, but it was too big. The
second chair was also too big.
The porridge in the second bowl was too cold. But the
porridge in the third bowl was just right, so she ate it all up.
The third chair was just right, but when she settled down in it,
it broke.

She was getting tired now and went upstairs to the bedroom. She laid down on the first bed,
but it was too hard.
She laid down on the second bed, but it was too soft.
She laid down on the third bed and it was just right. She
drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile, the three bears came home. “Someone’s been eating my porridge,” growled Father
Bear.

“Someone’s been eating my porridge,” said Mother Bear. “Someone’s been eating my
porridge and they have eaten it all up!” cried Baby Bear.
They walked into the living room. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair,”
growled Father Bear.“Someone’s been sitting in my chair,”
said Mother Bear.
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair and they’ve broken it all into pieces,” cried Baby Bear.
They decided to look around some more and when they got upstairs to the bedroom, father Bear growled,
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed.”

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed too,” said Mother Bear.
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed and she’s still there!” exclaimed Baby
Bear.
Just then Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears. She
screamed, “Help!” And jumped up and ran out of the room.
Goldilocks ran down the stairs, out the front door and away into the forest. She never returned to the home of the three bears again.
