The system should now be able to compensate for this and will adjust the statement correctly.

confusion, as some users think this is a default diagnoses field. The ICD-10 code has to be filled in with

every consultation.

The problem was that if the user set a stock item on "Non-stock", it did not save, it defaulted back to

"Standard". This issue has been resolved.

The process of setting single items to inactive in stock management has been modified to first check for

zero stock levels before allowing an item to be set to inactive.

The following different "rules"/combinations of stock storage (single/multiple warehouses), stock level

quantities (per entity/shared across entities) and local data (per entity/shared across entities) are

catered for:

1. Single warehouse with stock levels per entity and local data per entity:

Info : With this configuration stock levels are unique for just the entity you are working with and

only for the one warehouse that is linked to the entity. Each entity's stock is only visible

to that entity, and can only be set to inactive if the quantity of stock in the entity's

warehouse is zero.

Setup : GxOptions >> Interfacing:

1.1 Stock management : Single warehouse.

1.2 Stock Data Global/Per Entity : Stock level Per entity : radio button checked.

1.3 Stock Data Global/Per Entity : Fixed data : check box NOT checked.

2. Multiple warehouses with stock levels per entity and local data per entity.

Info : With this configuration stock levels are unique for just the entity you are working with over

all the warehouses that are linked to the entity, thus each entity's stock is again only

visible to that entity, but an item can only be set to inactive if the quantity is zero over

ALL the warehouses linked to the entity.

4. Multiple warehouses with stock levels shared and local data shared.

Info : With this configuration all items are common to all entities and an item can only be set to

inactive if the quantities are zero across all the warehouses in the stock schema.

Appendix: 10157

Free text field on custom label printer

To cater for the request of printing an ICD 10 code on the label, an additional Ad Hoc Free Format Text field has been

added to the label setup, for label types “Signata” and “Patient”.

In the past a “Free Format Text (Caption Only)” field was available for labels, but the field value was fixed at setup time

and not changeable during printing.

A new field that caters for the user to input ad hoc values during printing has now been added and is called “Free Format

(Ad Hoc)”.

Setup.

Navigate to the Label setup screen: GoodX options >> System Options >> Debtors >> Custom Labels button >> Select

a label >> Label Detail button

The old “Free Format Text (Caption Only)” field is still set up like it always has been done, the only change is that its

description has now been changed to: “Free Format (Pre-configured)” but it still works the same way as it has in the

past.

The NEW field that was added is called “Free Format Text (Ad Hoc)” and it is added from the “Add Free Format (Ad Hoc)”

button on the Quickreport Label setup screen.

In the Screen above the user has added an extra free text field for ICD10, by clicking the “Add Free Format (Ad Hoc)”

button and setting the captions to “ICD 10”.

Remember to save the field by clicking on the tick mark

Note that you can add more than one of these ad hoc free format text fields

Use – Signata Label.

To enter the actual free format text, the user has to select the correct label as set up above from the invoice dialog.

Click on Reports >> Labels >> Medicine Labels dialog appears >> Edit button >> printer tab

Select the correct label that was set up in options earlier on

When the user then clicks on print, the following input box is displayed where the user can input the free format text,

note that the text “ICD 10” on the input box is the caption that was entered in the first steps during setup. If there are

more than one free format text field the Input box will pop up for each free format text field

And when the label is then printed, the user’s text is printed next to the caption on the label.

Use – Patient Label.

From Med debs >> Debtors list >> Right click on debtor >> Label >> edit button

Select the custom patient label that was set up earlier, and then click on the Print button.

Same as with the Signata label, the following input box is displayed where the user can input the free format text, note

that the text “ICD 10” on the input box is the caption that was entered in the first steps during setup.

And when the label is then printed, the user’s text is printed next to the caption on the label.
