PROVISIONAL SELECT LIST

1. In Pursuance to the Notification dated:22.02.20 18 cited at reference-l , recruitment

process to fill up 190 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women) including

Inservice was initiated and after completing the recruitment process as per all the procedures

laid down in the Cadre and Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2009 & 20] 6. Provisional Select

Lists were published cited at reference-2.

2. Two candidates who were selected for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil)

Kum. Priyanka, bearing Roll No: 3421238 and Sri. Rangaswamy A.D., bearing Roll

No:3424866 have expressed their unwillingness to join the post as per ·their

affidavits/Representation cited at reference-3. Accordingly, considering the request of the

above Two candidates their candidature was cancelled vide order No.70/Rect-2/2017-18,

dated: 13.09.2019.

3. Due to the cancellation of the candidature of Two candidates two posts in Sub-Inspector

of Police (Civil) have remained unfilled. In order to fill up the two posts this Provisional Select

List is being published with the following conditions.

a) This list is subject to the outcome of the results in the medical examination to be held

by a Medical Board constituted as per the rules.

b) The fact that the name of the candidate figures in this list does not give him any legal

right for appointment to the post which will be dependent on the aforesaid conditions.

c) This select list is subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble Karnataka State

Administrative Tribunal/ Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka / Hon'ble Supreme Court of

India.
