Front-panel vacuum fluorescent display continuously shows current position of all modules within the GP700.
Internal programming instruction set allows userto enter and store up to four mini-programs viathe front panel (no computer required) orremotely. Mini- programs can control switches,attenuators, filters, electrical triggers, and testing sequences.
Nine memory registers capable of saving complete or partial device states.
Labview drivers available. Contact DiCon forother drives.

DiCon's GP700 General Purpose Fiberoptic Platform offers complete fiber optic switching solutions. The flexible GP700enables the integration of multiple fiber-optic switches,attenuators, couplers, and other components in a user-friendlyprogrammable instrument. The instrument can control up to 301xN switches, tunable filters, or variable attenuators, and up to64 2x2, 1x2, or On-Off switches. Larger configurations can beaccommodated using multiple housings. A wide variety of rack-mountable and benchtop chassis are available. DiCon’sGP700s can be built with Corning SMF-28, Flexcor 1060 orPolarization Maintaining Panda fiber.

Modular GP700
DiCon’s GP700M Modular Mainframe builds on the enormousflexibility of DiCon’s GP700. The GP700M shares the powerfuluser interface with the traditional GP700. At the same time,it offers the convenience of field installation of fiberopticswitches, variable attenuators, and tunable filters. Theinstrument can accommodate up to eight modular Plug-Ins andcan be configured with non-modular internal components byrequest. The GP700M Modular Mainframe is available instandard and extended 4U rackmount chassis.
