Exam Days run with a different schedule They run one per day (period 1,2,3,4) and the start promptly at 8:30 am.

Attendance will be taken at 8:45 am. Students who are late will be contacted at home. Please make sure to check with teachers about what room the exam will take place in and bring materials needed for the evaluation. All exams are 75 minutes minimum, with senior exams often 2 hours. Students are asked to quietly leave the school after their exam as others will still be writing. Any textbooks or course materials can be handed back to the classroom teacher at that time and must be returned before semester two begins, Feb. 3rd.

With the different time schedule for exams, students using board transportation are reminded to speak with the other students they are sharing a ride with to coordinate times and then contact the transport company to make changes as needed with them.

Orchestra and Concert Band classes will resume on Monday, February 5th at the usual time.

GPA STUDENTS CAN GO TO NEW YORK CITY! To cap off a busy and amazing year - also our first for HWDSB Audition Based Program of the Arts students, we are planning a trip to New York City: June 8-11th, 2017. We are having a meeting with all interested students FRIDAY, JANUARY 20th at lunch in the Theatre. There will be a $200 deposit due by January 31st for each student. A detailed itinerary with what is included on the trip will be handed out at the meeting as well. A parent meeting time will be discussed as well. I apologize for the short timelines. The trip is open to any student in a GPA group or course. Contact pborsc@hwdsb.on.ca with any questions.
