Boycott – when a group of people avoid something as an act of rebellion or protest.

Boston Tea Party – the 13 colonies dump tea in Boston Harbour as a result on new BR taxes on tea.

had their civil laws which also governed land ownership – Loyalists wanted the same rights as British citizens
