Creating a Quote The following screens will illustrate how to create a quote

on-line.

In the CURRIES & GRAHAM Portal, you will find the option “Graham Quote”. Click on this item and select the option “Create Quote” from the menu bar as shown.

– For Ordering, You will need to fill in as many information fields as possible. There are required fields that we will cover in the ordering section.

There are 3 points to note in the shipping information. – Ship Via must be selected for the system to give you the best

possible freight estimate.

– There are currently only 2 types of valid Ship Via methods. Pool Ship and LTL.

– If you pick LTL – you will also need to select a carrier.

This is the field were you would select “POOL” or “LTL” shipping

This is the field were you would select a “CARRIER” if you request LTL

When you are done filling out the appropriate fields you can save the information

Then you will want to select the estimated amount of doors you will be ordering. This is very important because it will be included in your discount.

Now that you have filled out all your header information, make sure to SAVE your work!

Now we will “Add” lines for to build your Graham Wood Door Quote

Building your Wood Door Quote

At the bottom of the page you will need to click the “Add” button.


This is were you will want to click to add a line to build your Wood Door Quote

After you have selected the “Add” button a series of fields will appear in a separate window named “Quote Details”. Next to this it will show the status of the line in view. – If you are building a new line item, it will show a status of “-

New”.

– If you are updating a line item, it will have a “- Line #” assigned to it.


Building your Wood Door QuoteQuote Details – Line Item Status

Now we will fill in the fields that will specify the type of door you want .

– Qty – This is the number of doors for this line item.

– Mark Id – If the door will have mark id’s select yes. The id’s will be added at order time.

– Label – This is the label that is required for the door. The available values are I,P,W. An example would be “W” for Warnock Hersey Neutral Pressure Label.

– Rating – This is the required fire rating of the doors for this line. Available ratings are 20, 45, 60 and 90 minute.


– Series – This is the series that is required for the door. Examples include GPD, GMD, GCD.

– Construction – Available construction types are based on Label, Rating, and Series. Examples are EC, PC, HC, SL, etc.

– Species – Select you species that will be applied to all doors for this line.



– Face Type – Most face types have cutout information attached to them. However, certain face types require you enter in cutout information.

– Moulding – Available mouldings will be displayed based on face type. You will notice that only moulding with the same species type appears in the dropdown box.

– Height and Width – The height and width is the nominal door size needed for the doors on this line.

– Thickness – Currently, there are only 2 types of door thickness: 1 3/4” and 1 3/8”


– Bevel – available bevel types are:– 3/3 – bevel both hinge and lock stile– 3L – bevel lock stile only– 3H – bevel hinge edge only– ‘0’ – No bevel on hinge or lock stile– FS – This is used if the door is Full and Square with no prefitting

– Hinge – Select the appropriate hinge from the dropdown. At this time, you must order at least 3 hinges, which is automatically set for you. Examples are 40,45, 45H.


– Set – This is a field that would be filled out if you are indicating that you have a Standard Pair, Double Egress Pair or Bifold Panels.

– Group – This allows you to group your paired doors. Please follow the guidelines in the next section.

When selecting pairs of doors you will need to follow these rules. – If starting a group, you will need to make sure that the

very next line added ends or continues the group.<: Start Set (Active Leaf) >: End Set (Inactive Leaf)

– It will be up to the user to ensure that groups are ended appropriately.

– We have implemented some rules for pairing, but not all rules are applied at this time. If you come across a situation were you are not able to enter a pair of doors accourding to your situation, please contact Deb Hart asap.



– Machining Deadlock – If you will have a deadlock, you must set this as the first lock on the form.

– Lock/Strike Flush-Bolts – Select the appropriate lock/strike or flush bolt. Note: you must select the deadlock here if deadlock is marked Y. This should be the first lock of the door. Additional Hardware Preps should be used for secondary locks and additional preps.


– Additional Hardware Prep – This is a special field which will require you to enter all applicable information.

– First, you will need to select your hardware prep.

– Next, Fill in all applicable information for Additional Hardware Manufacturer, Series, Function, Trim, and Mullion. When completed, click the add prep field. You will now see your added information in the table below.

– Edge – This is a field that allows you to select a specific metal edge or wood astragal for your paired doors.

– PreFinish – This will be the stain applied to the all doors for this line.

– Blocking – select appropriate blocking. Blocking may be required in some instances. We have filtered the list to show fire rated blocking for fire rated doors. (Note: Fire Rated Paired doors may require additional blocking to build – please call your Graham Customer Service Representative if you have questions regarding your fire rated paired doors.)


– Special Elevation – This would be the name of the elevation you are sending. The elevation could be for special hardware locations, special lite locations, applied moulding, etc.

– Add Special Instructions – IMPORTANT! Pricing does NOT include any special instructions that may affect the price of your quote or order. You will be able to add special instructions at the time you submit an order if you mark this field as Yes.


Save Your Work

Once all information has been filled out, click the “Save” button to save your information.– You will notice at the bottom of the screen that your line is being

saved.

The first item shown in the message is the field in which the error is occurring. You should click on these field boxes to correct the error. In this example we would want to click the “Series” field and make the correct selection.

Our next field would be “Core Type”. (You will have to save your work again once you have made the corrections necessary.)

Adding additional Lines

To add additional lines repeat the steps outlined here by clicking the add button.

Additional lines will copy the previous line’s information. At request, we have added a reset button to clear the form.

You can also copy previous lines by holding down your ‘Shift’ key and double clicking the line item with your mouse that you wish to copy.

Submitting For Quote

Once you have entered in all of your doors and all the information is correct. You will want to click the “Submit for Quote” button found at the bottom of your screen.– Make sure you have all of the doors entered in that you need. You will not be

able to go back to add more lines once the line items are quoted.

When the On-line system has accepted the line items you have built, it will show a status of “Quoted”

Searching for an existing Quote

In the CURRIES & GRAHAM Portal, click on the option “Graham Quote”. You will then select the option “Search Quote” from the menu bar as shown.


Once you have selected the “Search Quote” option, a new screen will appear with several field options.


You can fill any one of these fields to search for a quote

Press the “Submit”

button when complete


The system will then display a new screen with your quote listed at the top

Double Click this with your mouse to display your quote information.

You will not be able to make changes to this once it is at a status of Quoted or Ordered.

You will however be able to copy the quote and make your revisions under a new quote number.

How to Copy and Existing Quote or Order.You will start by searching for an existing Quote or Order. Once you have the Information displayed you will notice a copy button at the bottom of the page.
