The Grindex Proline range is equipped with thepatented protection system SMART that guaranteescorrect motor rotation and prevents motor overheatingallowing your Grindex to work without supervision inthe toughest environment.
This range is, of course, available with all the acces-sories required, and complimented with some specialversions to serve all your needs.

Patented protection system SMART: 4 motor protections
AIR VALVE:Dry running protectionAs soon as the pump runs dry, the air valve automatically opens. The impeller starts to act asa fan cooling the motor, bearings and seals.Therefore, the pump can run dry over extendedperiods without damage.
ROTASENSE: To ensure correct motor rotationThe unique Rotasense system ensures that themotor only runs in the correct direction. It elimi-nates potential overheating, abnormal wear oroverloading.
TEMPERATURE GUARD:To protect from overheatingGrindex pumps feature three temperatureguards to automatically break the supply if the temperature in any stator winding exceeds130°C.
PHASE GUARD:To protect from single-phasingThis controller stops the pump as soon as onephase is lost during operation to preventserious damage to the motor. As soon as all the phases are restored, the pump startsautomatically.
The highly abrasive-resistant polyurethane diffuser is adjustable to maintain optimum pumping performance.
The reinforced cable entry ensures strong cableattachment.
The single phase pumps are provided with a doublecapacitor a large one to start the pump, another torun the pump.
All the pumps can be easily moved by carryinghandles or eyebolts.
Discharge connections can be vertical or horizontal,threaded or grooved.

The air valve allows the pump to run dry. It opens assoon as there is no more water in the pump, andallows the hot air out, allowing the pump to keep cool.
The corrugated stainless steel outer casing gives morethan twice the strength of a plain casing.
The SMART system protects the pump and thereforecomes with a 2 year warranty against dry burn-out.
Two sets of mechanical seals, working independentlyto prevent water penetration.
The class F insulated stator can handle a maximumtemperature of 155°C but trips at 130°C to protect the motor.
The chromium-alloyed white cast iron impeller (55 HRC) exists in two versions : open for the drainagepumps and Vortex for the sludge pumps. The impelleris made to withstand highly abrasive materials.
