1936• Jean Mercier

• Inventor of the bladder accumulator

1941• Compagnie Générale pour

l’Equipement Aéronautique

• First used in aeronautic propeller pitch control

1957• OLAER France comes into being

• UK Company, Metal Industries LTD becomes shareholder

1959• Bladder Accumulator is adopted by

the hydraulics market

1967• Hydraulic market develops

Wind Energy

Olaer's coolers are to be found in a wide variety of applications from forest machinery to grape harvesting. The solution could be a standard oil cooler but also an advanced combination cooler to cool the motor, charge-air, hydraulics, transmission and/or fuel.
