Specific academic and professional programs (Schools of Business, Education & Professional Studies, and Engineering, Science & Technology) have additional/higher admission requirements.

Step 1

Complete a CSCU Community College application for admission and submit it, along with a check for the required $20 application fee.

If you’re currently an NCCC student, you’ve almost certainly done this already!

Step 2

Collect an official copy of your high school transcript or GED, and official copies of transcripts from any previously attended colleges/universities.

Complete a Guaranteed Admission application.

Available at UCONN website, under Transfer Admissions)

Also available at CSD Transfer Advising.

Non-refundable Application Fee is $70.00 check.

Never accept a $70.00 bill!


THE GAP APP PROCESS

Step 4

Schedule a a meeting with the NCCC Transfer Coordinator, who reviews your eligibility.

At the meeting, the Transfer Coordinator signs the application, and makes a copy of it.

Finally, YOU will mail the completed application and all accompanying materials to UCONN.

Be sure to attach

sufficient postage!


THE GAP APP PROCESS

When you apply to graduate for NCCC, you must completethe Intent to Enroll form and send it to UCONN.

You can get the Intent to Enroll form from the NCCC Transfer Coordinator.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

You must submit the Intent to Enroll form for the Fall semester by March 1st

You must submit the Intent to Enroll form for the Spring semester by October 1st

Apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA due by March 1st)


THE GAP APP PROCESS

After UCONN receives your completed Intent to Enroll form and official community college transcript (as well as official transcripts from any other postsecondary institutions attended), it will send you aformal letter of admission to University of Connecticut.

UCONN will complete a transfer credit evaluation.


THE GAP APP LAST LAP!

Attend the Admitted Student Open House in the spring

Attend Transfer Orientation, advising, and register for classes at UCONN

Send an official final transcript to UCONN
