group of parents coming together a few times a week and training themselves to providetheir kids with the best possible support, Integral Care Center has since been transformedinto a facility that provides complex and intensive support, catering to the needs of disabledchildren. The school operates five days a week and provides a range of support therapiessuch as, horse, dog and water therapy. Licensed professionals also offer their services 3  inthe aid of children with disabilities. This is certainly an achievement most deserving ofcelebration!

GVI commenced the cooperation withIntegral Care Centre 2 years ago, sincethen many volunteers had anopportunity to contribute and dedicatetheir time and skills to help to improvethe lives of the school’s students and atthe same time gain a lot of experienceand unforgettable memories

themselves. It was therefore a big honorfor us to be able to be part of the 7th birthday celebration together with all thefounders, teachers, students, supportersand friends of Integral Care Centre.

Another of our affiliates is Coco’s Animal Welfare; our cooperation withthem started 2 years ago. GVI

volunteers have been offering their assistance to the clinic ever since helping with the dailyrunning of the clinic, preparing the animals for the surgeries or helping with recovery and

many more. Coco’s, which started their work in Playa del Carmen 6 years ago, celebratedtheir anniversary with a big public event which was also aimed at raising the funds for theirprograms. These range from spay and neuter programs to community events aimed atraising animal welfare awareness4. Volunteers and staff seized the opportunity to supportCoco's Animal Welfare in an evening of festivities and the pleasant company of the guests.

The anniversary celebrations of our partners here inMexico have been a great way to reflect on ourexisting work in the volunteer programs here in Playadel Carmen. It has also been a great opportunity toshare, plan and discuss our future plans and visions.
