places of tourist destination. There are many places of interest around Hassan like M C F,

Chikmagalore, Shravanabelagola, Sringeri, Belur and Halebeedu and so on. Master

Control facility is the only satellite control system for all satellite launching programmes.

Many spiritually auspicious places like Shravanabelagola, Sringeri, Horanadu,

Dharmastala and Kukke Subramanya all very close by. Sculptures in Belur and Halebeedu

are well known and worth visiting atleast once. Family members can have a very nice
