consumpt ion . The gearboxes on the NEW TRAKKER are a l l about
er gonomics and per formance . Star t ing f rom Euro VI eng ine a l l
manua l gearboxes wi l l be equ ipped with the more confor table
contro l leve l “s ing le H” . As wel l as manua l gearboxes , the NEW
TRAKKER of fer s Eurotronic automated transmissions,
wi th s teer ing co lumn mounted sh i f t lever. The new decompress ion
eng ine br ake (super eng ine br ake) on the Cur sor eng ine i s
increased thanks to the butter f ly va lve on the exhaust de l iver s
30% more br ak ing power. Veh ic les wi thout a l l -wheel dr ive have
d isc br akes up f ront , e lectron ica l ly contro l led by ABS and EBL
systems and ASR as an opt ion . The suspens ion systems are a l so
h igh ly robust : semi-e l l i p t i ca l l ea f spr ings , a i r suspens ion on 3-
and 4-ax le mode l s . The f r ames o f the NEW TRAKKER a re made
o f h i gh -y ie ld - s t reng th s tee l , ava i l ab le i n two th i cknes ses : 7 .7
mm for app l i c a t ions where t a re we igh t i s a p r io r i t y, and 10 mm
for the heav ie s t du ty.
NEW TRAKKER has outstanding robustness, reliability and
general excellence, tested in the wor ld’s toughest rally, the
Dakar. Undisputed champion in 2012, it successfully covered
the more than 8 ,000 km of the 2013 r a l ly, winn ing s ix s tages .

the NEW TRAKKER, good looks are par t o f the package , but
they ’re not just sk in-deep, because form a lways fo l lows funct ion .
The f ront features a new centr a l gr i l le , and redes igned bumper,
large light clusters complete wi th head lamp protect ion
guards , and a lar ge space for the customer ’s name . The of f - s ide
and near-s ide door mir ror s , combined with kerb mir ror s and
f ront bl ind-spot mir ror s , ensure opt imum v is ib i l i ty. The built-in
fog lamps mean you can keep wor k ing even in extreme weather.
And to tack le the most broken ter r a in wi th confidence , the NEW
TRAKKER can be equ ipped with a steel radiator shield.
I’M TRAKKER AND COMFORT IS ONE OF MY STRONG
POINTS. The e f f i c ient a i r condi t ion ing system and the sound-
proofing of the cab ensure top quality of l ife on board even
in the most adver se condi t ions . NEW TRAKKER i s ava i lable wi th
three cab versions: (HI-LAND) day cab wi th s tandard roof
and (HI-TRACK) s leeper cab wi th low or h igh roof . A l l the cabs
feature the funct iona l and er gonomic new dashboard made
with top-qua l i ty, non-re f lect ive , sof t - touch mater ia l s . The contro ls
have been re-pos i t ioned around the dashboard and centr a l area ,
to make them eas i ly v i s ible and access ible . There are p lenty of
s tor age compar tments , and you ’ l l f ind other cubby holes in the
door s , not to ment ion the centr a l s tor age console and even more
space beh ind the dr iver ’s seat for c lothes hooks . To make l i fe on

BEATING. The new Euro VI , des igned to de l iver excellent
performance, low running costs and super ior dr iver
comfor t , are ava i lable in 9- and 13- l i t re var iants , spann ing a
power r ange of 310 to 500 HP.
The Cursor 9, ava i lable in 310-330-360 HP ver s ion wi th waste
gate turbo, has d i sp lacement of 8 ,709 cm3 and in- l ine 6 cy l inder
arch i tecture , and meets Euro VI s tandards .
The Cursor 13, idea l for the most demanding appl icat ions , wi th
d i sp lacement of 12 ,880 cm3 and in- l ine 6 cy l inder arch i tecture ,
i s ava i lable in 410 , 450 and 500 HP ver s ions . The 450 and
500Hp de l iver h igh torque at low eng ines speeds , cour tesy of a
var iable-geometr y turbo. The Cur sor 13 also meets Euro VI
standards in terms of exhaust emiss ions .
The NEW TRAKKER a l so mounts the INTARDER to fur ther
reduce demands on the ser v ice br akes . That ’s how the NEW
TRAKKER pushes back the f ront ier s of the poss ible .

Thanks to the e f for ts and resources Iveco dedicates to the s tudy
and appl icat ion of new technolog ies , i t o f fer s innovat ive so lut ions
that reduce fue l consumpt ion and env i ronmenta l impact : the
new Euro VI eng ine wi th HI-eSCR system (adopted exc lus ive ly
by IVECO) i s the on ly cur rent ly ava i lable technology that i s able
to mainta in EuroV eng ine fue l consumpt ion leve ls (whereas
wi th EGR the fue l consumpt ion increases by an aver age of 3%) .
Cur sor eng ines wi th HI-eSCR have a number of advantages over
the so lut ions adopted by compet i tor s :
unr iva l led spec i f i c power and torque , thanks to the h igher
thermodynamic e f f i c iency of the eng ines and the common r a i l
in ject ion system
less weight , wi thout EGR can be ach ieved the same per formance ,
compared to compet i tor s , wi th lower d i sp lacements
greater e f f i c iency and lower consumpt ion , thanks to the
opt imized combust ion wi thout EGR
pass ive-on ly DPF regener at ion , (not necessar y post in ject ions
o f fue l ) for the reduct ion of par t icu la te ins ide the eng ine , wi th
benefi t s in terms of consumpt ion and maintenance .
HI-eSCR i s the best combinat ion of e f f i c iency and dur ab i l i ty us ing
compact , l i ght weight technology. The ent i re system i s housed
together wi th the DPF in a s ing le box on the s ide of the f r ame .
