About District

District is known / popular in the Country.

Dhalai district is the youngest district in Tripura.It is formed in 1995.The District is rich in natural resources.More than 70% area of this district is hilly and forest covered.It has tremendous scenic beauty.This district is distinct for Jampui Hills which gives a huge produce of orange. An orange festival is organized every year during the winter season. Dhalai is famous for its production of pineapples. It has a fruit juice factory namely NERAMAC based on this pineapples. Attractive Fair: Rash Fair of Manipuri Community held in November at Baralutma Maharash Mandap 18 kms from dist. H.Q. Attractive Dance: 1. Lebang Bumani: This is a famous dance of the Reang Community.The dance is performed standing on a bottle as well as keeping a bottle on the forehead. 2. Dhamail of Bengali community(Group dance). 3. Hajagiri, Another dance of the Reang Community.

Note:- 1. Subject teachers will conduct their other tests in the classes as per their convenience and submit all the documents and mark lists just after the paper-pen Test within 24 hours, so that Result Analysis can be sent to NVS, RO, Shillong within 48 hours after the completion of last paper.

2. All subject teachers are requested to submit the question papers of their respective

subjects to the Exam I/C positively on 18/07/2011

3.The Formative Assessment-1 for Miscellaneous Subjects will be conducted by the

respective teachers DURING THEIR PERIODS.

4. Syllabus for 1st Formative Test must be completed before 15th of July 2011.

5. 40 TO 50% of SYLLABUS MUST BE COVERED WITH THE USE OF ICT. For this, Resource Room can be used.

6. All the subject teachers are requested to get issued the Teaching Aids from the Academic-in-charge, if the Aids are required for the lesson.

7. All the subject teachers and miscellaneous teachers are requested to go through the CCE pattern which is available in LIBRARY (The Book-PERSPECTIVE ACADEMIC PLANNING-2011-12) AND XEROX IS KEPT IN THE STAFF ROOM FOR REFERRENCE.

All the Miscellaneous teachers are instructed to submit the CCE –related materials/documents of every Formative Assessment to the Principal.

ACTION PLAN TO IMPROVE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

1. CBSE CCE Pattern will be implemented very strictly to make the students and the parents aware of this pattern. Counselling & guidance will be done time to time.

2. Teachers will be trained for CCE pattern at the school level.

3. Maintenance of CCE records will be done in a good manner.

4. Syllabus for all the subjects and practical in Science, Mathematics and Soc.Sc. will be completed in time.

5. 40 to 50% of syllabus will be covered by using ICT. For this, Resource Room and Computer lab will be used frequently. For all round development , the students will be encouraged to take part actively in the activities related to art, Music and Sports.

6. If necessary, Extra classes will be arranged for board going classes or to complete the syllabus in other classes also.
