Product Explanation

First you would place contaminated water in 5 gallon container

Second you will need to run water through charcoal and sand filter to get rid of any chemicals that are present

Third, once the water has run through the filter, you will need to set the container with the water in the sun for up to 6 hours so that the UV light penetrates the water to kill any bacteria that is present in the water.

Germs that are terminated from UV-A sunlight exposure at 6 hours: o Bacteria – Escherichia colio Bacteria – Vibrio cholerao Bacteria – Salmonellao Bacteria – Shigella flexnerio Bacteria – Campylobacter jejunio Bacteria – Yersinia enterocolitica
