    The authorities may on their national territory, at any time, conductspot check to verify whether the requirements have been met (without

    major disruption to the road service) Participants to the carriage of DG shall provide the competentauthorities and their agents with the necessary information forcarrying out the checks

    Spot checks can be conducted on the road

    or on the premise ofthe companies (documents, packaging, vehicles, )

    If they observe that the requirements have not been met, authoritiesmay prohibit a consignment or interrupt the transport operation untilrectification.

    Authorities of the different states are collaborating in the exchange ofinformation pertaining to very serious or repeated infringement bycompanies headquartered in another state
