    Description Item No. Weight

The main forming component of the handset system.

Alumnium panels are light weight and provide an excellent strenght to weight ratio. Plywood is 5/8” HDO.

Panels attach to one another and are held in place with keys or bolts and plumbed with 2x4 walers and 2x4 or 2x6 strongbacks.

To create pilasters which vary from 1-12 inches. Two pilaster form units form flanges on either side of the pilaster and are held together with standard panels and fillers.

Depending on the desired depth of the pilaster, the form can be installed one way to accomodate odd depths (1, 3 5, 7, 9 and 11 inches) or turned over for even depts of (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches)

Use Notes/ObservationsUsed to connect steel fillers to aluminum panels and held in place with the Wedge W-7.

Because the K-28 Key is used in conjunc-tion with the Wedge W-7 it is often referred to as a key and wedge system. The two nail holes on the K-28 Key (long key) provide for shortstopping when con-necting steel fillers, allowing the user to tighten the joint for 1 1/2” and 1” fillers.

    K-28 KEY (LONG) HS903 1.65LB

    Description Item No. Weight

Use Notes/ObservationsCombines with the K-28 Key to connect steel fillers to aluminum panels.

Also used in situations where the K-30 Key (when used vertically as a wedge) will not tighten the joint.

    WEDGE W-7 HS906 .2LB

Use Notes/ObservationsUsed to connect aluminum panels in place of keys, column lift angles to corners of column form, hinges to column forms and the brace plate to aluminum panels.

Often used in colum form applications where a hinged form is created and used for multiple pours. Assures a solid joint for the hinged form when being moved by a crane.

    8

Use Notes/ObservationsThe main connecting component for aluminum panels.

Because the K-30 Key is used to join and wedge aluminum panels it is often referred to as a 2 key system.A nail hole is provided for shortstopping, effectively shortening the length of the key allowing the user to tighten the joint.
