gloscol.ac.uk New and exciting for 2021/22 Harbour House is a safe, self-contained, specialist facility at Alexandra Warehouse within walking distance of the Gloucester Campus. The provision has been designed to support a collaborative approach to education, ensuring educational and therapeutic needs can be met within the city for students with severe learning difficulties. The curriculum will be individualised and will focus on a combination of sensory approaches to learning; combining living skills, community engagement, cookery for independence and the development of English and maths for daily life. Communication will be supported by the use of an inclusive varied approach with support from a communication interaction practitioner and speech and language therapist, where an EHCP advises. All students will be supported by a dedicated Personal Tutor who will support them, their circle of support and any relevant agencies, to review progress periodically towards their aspirations and goals. An extensive transition plan will be designed with the student s current educational provider, enabling continuity of medical and therapeutic support, providing a bespoke individualised learning package for each student. New and exciting for 2021/22

Harbour House is a safe, self-contained, specialist facility at Alexandra Warehouse

within walking distance of the Gloucester Campus. The provision has been

designed to support a collaborative approach to education, ensuring educational

and therapeutic needs can be met within the city for students with severe learning

difficulties.

The curriculum will be individualised and will focus on a combination of sensory

approaches to learning; combining living skills, community engagement, cookery

for independence and the development of English and maths for daily life.

An extensive transition plan will be designed with the student’s current educational provider, enabling continuity of medical and therapeutic support, providing a bespoke individualised learning package for each student.
