Our military origin has given us more than two decades experience in protective eyewear, experience which we put into the Harley-Davidson® Performance Eyewear collection.Shatterproof Selenite™ lenses separately, and mounted in their frame, meet ANSI Z87 requirements for high velocity impact and high mass impact. This means eyewear with Selenite lenses are able to withstand an impact from a .25” diameter steel ball travelling at 165 KM/H, and an impact from a 500g. steel projectile dropped from a height of 1.27m. Before purchasing any riding eyewear, look for the WX Z87 marking on the frame and temples and WX+ mark on the lenses to ensure you are getting only ANSI Z87 rated eye protection for high velocity impact and high mass impact.

90% of all frames can be fitted with prescription lenses. As our professional prescription lens partner, we have chosen Shamir, who’s AttitudeTM lenses are specifically developed for our 8-base H-D frames.

The RX program enables simple ordering and delivery of single vision (Shamir Smart AttitudeTM) and progressive (Shamir Autograph AttitudeTM)

The ultimate day riding lens. PPZ™ is a revolutionary technology and unique to the Harley-Davidson brand. PPZ™ lenses deliver the benefits of traditional polarized lenses without obscuring road dangers including pot holes, oil, ice and water. PPZ™ lenses eliminate the visual distortion patterns caused by traditional polarized lenses allowing the rider to read GPS devices, mobile phones and all gas pumps.Furthermore, PPZ™ lenses eliminate the rainbow effect behind a full face shield or windscreen. The multi-layer silver flash coating buffers light transitions from light to dark and vice versa.

SMOKE GREY - SLIVER FLASH

Provide maximum shade on those bright days. This is the darkest lens in our lens library. The multi-layer silver flash coating buffers light transitions from light to dark and vice versa. The neutral grey color will not distort color perception.

SMOKE GREY - LIGHT ADJUSTING

Darken based on the amount of UV radiation present. As the sun gets lower on the horizon (early morning, late afternoon or dusk) the atmosphere filters the UV radiation and lenses transmit more light to the eye. Because of the optical clarity, these lenses are ideal for riding from dusk into the night. Many riders choose the convenience of having a single glass with LA Light Adjusting lenses for both day and night riding.

BROWN - LIGHT ADJUSTING

Enhance contrast using High-Contrast brown pig-ments. Improved contrast enhances the perception of ground level contours in most light conditions. As with the LA Light Adjusting Smoke Grey Lenses, these lenses darken based on the amount of UV radiation present. Because this lens does not get as clear as its LA Smoke Grey cousin, this lens is not recommended for riding at night.

In co-operation with Shamir, Wiley X Europe offers Soft Mirror coating in a number of differentcolors. The Soft Mirror coating is applied to the surface of the lens in order to limit glare,increase absorption and reduce infrared. Soft Mirror coating is good for snow sports andwater activities, but be aware that Shamir’s Soft Mirror is less visually dominant compared tostandard mirror coatings.

Wiley X / Shamir Nupolar® Polarized lenses do what no other lens or lens treatment can:• Eliminate blinding glare from reflected light bouncing off surfaces such as water or wet roads• Greatly improve visual sharpness, color contrast and visual comfort• Polarizing filters are not suitable for golf and aviation, and can cause optical distortion when looking through a helmet visor

Instead of the HMC coating (standard) you draw benefit from choosing a GlacierTM or Glacier Plus® coating to enhance the lifetime of the lenses. In general Wiley X Europe offers these coatings a lot cheaper compared to other lens manufacturers, so it is money well spend.The GlacierTM coating includes everything from the HMC coating plus: 1. Anti-static layer on the lens 2. External super hydrophobic layer to prevent water marks 3. Oil phobic layer for easier cleaning 4. • Go from olive green/yellow to red brown, a color which is like nothing else we can prvide today• The lens is at non-activated state approximately 50-60% tinted and darkens when exposed to UV light, and even inside the car as well – it actually changes in three different stages (see illustration)• What is so revolutionary for this lens is the way it changes color, and the fact that this lens is both light adjusting and polarized at the same time

GREY - Reduces light intensity without altering the color of objects. Provides most natural color vision but does not enhance contrast. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15%

GREEN - Provides a cool, soothing tone to colors. Often used to create the classic look of aviator-style sunglasses. Filters some blue light and enhances contrast in low light conditions. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15%

Specifically designed to go extra dark outdoors, a comfortable tint indoors, and they activate moderately inside a car. Light transmission: 85% to 10% (in sunlight), 50% in a car.

Covered Items: (1) Non-prescription eyewear: Wiley X warrants Harley-Davidson Performance Eyewear by Wiley X to be

free of manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship (a) Active, Street, and Climate Control Series for the life of

the original purchaser (or the maximum period allowed by law in the country of purchase or residence of the original

purchaser, if less). (b) Windbreaker Series for the period of one year (or the maximum period allowed by law in the country

of purchase or residence of the original purchaser, if less). However, LA™ Light Adjusting lenses are warranted against

defects in materials or workmanship for a maximum period of 18 months. (2) Prescription eyewear frames: Wiley X does

NOT warrant prescription lenses as this would be the prescription lab’s sole responsibility. Wiley X warrants Wiley X frames

sold by Wiley X authorized prescription laboratories to be free of manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for a

period of 1-year (or the maximum period required by law in the country of purchase or residence of the original purchaser).

Scope of Coverage: Wiley X will repair or replace covered items at the sole discretion of Wiley X, as needed and as

available (identical or equivalent style) at no charge. Out of warranty items may be repaired (if repairable), replaced,

returned or destroyed, at the option and sole expense of the purchaser. Conditions: Proof of original purchase is required.

Purchaser must pay shipping and handling fees, all applicable sales or value added taxes, except where such fees are

prohibited by local law. Exclusions: This warranty does NOT extend to and excludes (i) products purchased from non-

authorized dealers or labs (ii) damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratched lenses

decide in its sole discretion, (vi) lost or stolen items, or (vii) prescription lenses.

How to Process a Warranty Claim for Repair or Replacement of Covered Items:

A. IN THE UNITED STATES: Please complete the online warranty claim form located online at: www.wileyx.com/support/

returnauthform.aspx. After proper completion of the online warranty claim form, Wiley X will provide you a Return

Authorization (RA) number. Print the completed online warranty claim form (including the RA number) and send the

warranty claim form along with the covered item and proof of purchase to: Wiley X, Inc., Attn: Returns Department, 7800

Patterson Pass Road, Livermore, CA 94550. Please use a traceable shipping method (Wiley X is not responsible for lost,

stolen or damaged shipments) and allow 7–10 business days from our receipt of the package to process your warranty

claim. Payment: A credit card payment of $9.00 (plus sales tax) to cover return shipping and handling is required.
