To acquire accreditation, the centres/organisations must comply with certain requirements for the teaching staff, the facilities and the exact resources when providing training for each certificate. There are accredited training centres/organisations throughout the Basque Country. It accredits professional qualifications acquired through initial training, work experience and/or employment training. • It demonstrates possession of specific qualifications required for regulated professions (as in the case of, caring for people with a dependency). • It facilitates continuous learning through flexible and accessible training structured in modules which provide accredited training associated with the certificates. It promotes employment or back to work and professional mobility opportunities in the Basque Country, the state or the European Union. How is it obtained?

What is the Certi�cate of Professional Competence?

Where can the application be made?

It can be obtained in di�erent ways:

By accredited training courses taking place in authorised training centres or organisations. These courses provide training modules linked to particu-lar sets of competences.

Having passed the professional modules for basic vocational training FPB of the Middle Level, Higher Level cycles) within the competence sets.

When compiling the access requirements for (FP) cycles, it is possible to follow a training path that leads to the acquisition of a quali�cation from a Vocational Training (FP) cycle.

By the recognition of professional compe-tences acquired through employment experience and/or informal training when an opening is o�ered.

Working for your employment

Having passed a competence set or all those corresponding to a Certi�cate of Professional Compe-tence, including the work experience module or its exemption, partial cumulative accreditation or the Certi�cate of Competence can be applied for from LANBIDE.

For this, the corresponding application forms must be �lled in, including the certi�cates showing that the competence sets and the work experience modules have been passed or if necessary the exemption application form with the supporting documents.

It is also possible to present the application in the format stipulated by article 38.4 of the current proce-dural law (Ley de Procedimiento) (Law 30/1992, 26th November).

The Certi�cate of Professional Competence is an o�cial document that accredits the training or quali-�cation for carrying out a particular employment activity.

Each professional pro�le corresponds to a speci�c Certi�cate of Professional Competence. There are more than 587 certi�cates belonging to 26 profes-sional groups, all of which can be found in the Catalo-gue of Professional Quali�cations.
