Ernest Saburo Kagawa of Waimea, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Jan. 26, 2005, at the age of 94. Born in Waimea on Feb. 11, 1910, he was a retired carpenter. Ernest S. Kagawa was a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, U.S. Army.
