Meter Reading recorded: The reading on the meter on a particular time or day. For new device installation, this value will be typically zero. For any replacement of devices, the reading entered would be the reading on the old device which is being replaced. Periodic Consumption: Is the expected consumption over a particular period of time (Say 365 days). This is used to calculate the expected consumption during forecasting incase the base period consumption (previous month reading or previous year current month reading) is not available.
