HDR Light Studio 4 - Direct Export plug-in for Cinema4D Direct Export plug-in for Cinema4D Works with Cinema4D 13 and above The direct export plug-in is used to push Cinema4D scenes directly into HDR Light Studio 4. In HDR Light Studio create custom HDRI maps directly onto 3D models using LightPaint. When the lighting is complete, render a HDR/EXR file to use in Modo for image based lighting and reflections. Manual Installation Required Install HDR Light Studio 4 using the installation files provided. Unzip the HDRLS_Plugins*.zip file and find the Cinema4D plug-in files required in the \HDRLS_Plugins\cinema4d folder. 1. Start Cinema4D 2. Select Edit>Preferences 3. Click on 'Open Preferences Folder...' 4. Copy the HDRLightStudio folder within the cinema4D plugins folder thats provided with HDR Light Studio into the 'plugins' subfolder 5. Restart Cinema4D Please note: Do not put the plugin in the 'plugins' subfolder under the C4D executables folder, as it will not be loaded! (C4D only looks for C++ plugins in there). There are several different ways of accessing the plugins in Cinema4D: 1. Select from the Plugins->HDRLightStudio submenu. 2. 'Tear-off' the submenu and dock it into your layout as a new toolbar. 3. Select Window->Customization->Customize Commands, then find the individual plugins in the dialog (use Auto or User in 'Name Filter' to find them easily), and drag them to any palette to add them to existing tools. 4. Workflow with Cinema4D

Ensure HDR Light Studio 4 is running with the LiveLight window open.

Use one of the 4 buttons to export your Cinema4D scene into HDR Light Studio

HDRLS Push File - Exports the current scene into HDR Light Studio via a saved �le

HDRLS Push Temp - Exports the current scene into HDR Light Studio via a temporary �le

HDRLS Sel Push File - Exports the current selection set into HDR Light Studio via a saved �le

HDRLS Push File - Exports the current selection set into HDR Light Studio via a temporary �le

When rendering a production HDR/EXR �le in HDR Light Studio to use in Cinema4D, select the Cinema4D host and correct renderer presets in the HDR Light Studio render dialog so the mapping of the HDR environment is correctly aligned when the �le is used in Modo.
