6. Jesus said, I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, by the authority of the word of the LORD we stop every evil plan and attack against the Church of Jesus Christ in Nigeria and we crush the powers of darkness working against her in Jesus name.

7. Dear LORD, please revive Your Church in Nigeria and deliver us from the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life in Jesus name.

8. Dear LORD, please frustrate the act ivit ies of all the false prophets and teachers in Nigeria and please in Your mercy release all the innocent souls they have held captive by their sorcery. 9. By the authority in the name of Jesus we destroy the root of corruption in Nigeria and we ask for the release of the blood of Jesus to purge the heart of every Nigerian of pollut ion.10. Dear LORD, thank You for the mandate and vision of Living Water.11. Mighty God, please glorify Your name in Living Water 2019.

12. Dear LORD, please draw a great mult itude of souls to Yourself in every session of Living Water 2019 and let there be an entrance of Your word into the heart of all the attendees that they may be saved and delivered.

13. Dear LORD, please release grace for a great move of the Holy Spirit in every session of Living Water 2019.

14. Dear LORD, please frustrate the efforts of everyone working against Living Water 2019 and put them to shame.

ENJOYING MARRIAGE------PART 24 want to cont inue my discussion on the role of the husband in a marriage. The scripture in Ephesians 5:25 says,

I have explained this scripture briefly in previous edit ions; you may have to refer to parts 21 and 22 Iof this series for details. Let me make it clear that the roles expected of both part ies in marriage is uncondit ional and is a lifelong affair. Before I cont inue I want us to understand the connect ion between Christ and the Church. The scriptures make it clear that the Church is the body of Christ. We see this from what the Holy Spirit revealed in Ephesians 1:22-23a

So Christ loved the Church, which is His body. In the same vein husbands are commanded to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, because their wives are parts of their bodies. That is why Ephesians 5:28

Marriage is ordained of God and it is a mystery. It is a process that makes two become one. This truth is stated in Ephesians 5:31-32a

This makes it mandatory for a husband to love his wife because the wife is part of him. It is abnormal for a man to do otherwise That is why Ephesians 5:29 says

No one takes delight in hurt ing himself. Every sane man wants to look good. So every man should go the extra mile to love and cherish his wife because anything you do to your wife comes back to you. I pray that the LORD will give you grace and wisdom to play your God ordained role in your marriage. By God's grace I shall cont inue in the next edit ion if Jesus tarries. The LORD recommended three things for this Church. It was a recommendation because of the way the LORD put it to them. The LORD said, I counsel thee. It was a counsel. They had a choice to accept or reject it. The consequence of reject ing it was already stated He would spue them out of His mouth. The first thing in the list is, gold tried in the fire. What is gold tried in the fire? Psalm 12:6 gives us an idea

The gold recommended to this Church is the word of the LORD. It is only the word of the LORD that gives you wisdom and grace to make wealth. If you are rich in the word you are rich in all things. It is the word of the LORD that is your best guide, the WORD guides into all truth. You can't be wrong doing the word of the LORD. Next, is white raiment. This refers to righteousness. It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that makes a man righteous. This refers to genuine salvat ion. The third thing recommended is eye salve to give them vision. This refers to opening the eyes of their spiritual understanding. This comes by the help of the Holy Spirit. The summary of it all is that the LORD wants this Church to pay attent ion to their spiritual development. This is important for anyone who desires to please the LORD. One reason the LORD warns us is to give us a chance to change so as to avoid being subst ituted. I pray that the LORD will give you understanding. This is the day that the Lord has made. It is the day of great fruitfulness. He alone will make you fruitful on all sides. Take advantage of the great grace of God to become fruitful so that you will become who God created you to be. God bless you. Shalom.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall bel ieve that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, bel ieve that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbel ief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

concluded the last edit ion with the story of the Nobleman from Capernaum who came to Jesus in Cana, a city in Galilee, request ing Jesus to I

follow him to Capernaum to heal his son who was at the point of death. I made it clear that the man had faith that Jesus could heal his son; that was why he came to Jesus in the first place. But the man thought that Jesus should be physically present for his sick son to be healed. When Jesus told the man to return to his house because his son would not die he obeyed. That was faith in act ion. What was the outcome of the Nobleman's act ion? The word of God went ahead of him and the miracle took place before he got home. This was what transpired John 4:51

His servants welcomed him with the good news of his son's recovery. If you read this verse carefully you will not ice that he was not the one who asked about his son's condit ion. The servants told him without him asking. Certainly the Nobleman would have been pleased to hear the comforting news. The Nobleman was curious to know when his son recovered John 4:52a

The response from the servants is an indication that they were monitoring the sick child. They were specific about the t ime the boy recovered John 4:52b

The boy recovered at about 1 o'clock the previous day. The man remembered that it was the same t ime Jesus told him his son liveth. This miracle further strengthened his faith in Christ and his entire family believed in Christ John 4:53

It was the Nobleman's faith in the word of the LORD that made his son well. How did I come to this conclusion? The scripture tells us that there were some people who had the privilege of meeting Jesus but did not receive their miracles because of unbelief - Matthew 13:54-58

“51. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son l iveth.”

“52. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend.”

“And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.”

“53. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son l iveth: and himself bel ieved, and his whole house.”

“54. And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? ……57. And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbel ief.”

The same Jesus who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38) did not do mighty works in his own country. Why? The scripture says because of unbelief of the people. This is an indicat ion that unbelief is a hindrance to miracles; it is a hindrance to blessings. I pray that you will not be caught in the web of unbelief. Faith is the master key you need to live a victorious and a fulfilled life. Just like you need to exercise your faith in God and His word to enjoy His blessings, you also need faith to deal with all the issues of lifeLet me put it this way; you can create what you want in partnership with God by your faith. Let me buttress this point with what Jesus said to His disciples when Peter was amazed that the tree that Jesus cursed dried up in a matter of hours Mark 11:20-23

Mountain could mean anything unpleasant. Whenever you notice them you command them to give way. Jesus made it clear in this scripture that you can have whatsoever you say if you don't doubt. That is to say, you can create what you want by your faith. How can you create it? The same way God created the world. How did God create the world? God created the world by speaking into existence what He had conceived in His heart. You must first conceive your dream world in your heart. Next, use the appropriate scripture and begin to speak what you desire into existence. Nothing happens by chance. You have to create what you want with your word in line with God's word. In Genesis chapter one we see that God kept saying let there be …. And there was. Romans 4:17 says

You and I can also call the things which are not as though they were. Your faith is what act ivates God's power and anoint ing to work for you.

“…….22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall bel ieve that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

“17……..even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

I will share two examples from the scriptures to buttress this first is the account of Apostle Peter. One occasion after Jesus finished a major crusade He told His disciples to go ahead of Him in a ship while He went into the mountain to pray. When He was done praying it was already past midnight and the ship in which the disciples were in was already in the middle of the sea, tossed with the waves because the wind was contrary. At about three o'clock in the morning Jesus decided to walk on the sea to catch up with His disciples. When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the sea they were afraid, saying, it is a spirit; and they cried out for fear Matthew 14:22-26

Jesus responded by telling them not to be afraid because He was the one and not a spirit Matthew 14:27. Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water - Matthew 14:28. Peter wanted to do what no man had done. He wanted to walk on the sea. Jesus said to him, Come. Peter acted on that word and stepped out of the ship and began to walk on water, to go to Jesus Matthew 14:29

That was faith in action. He acted on Jesus' instruction, and was able to do what no man had done. The word of God is powerful. You cannot be disappointed obeying God's word. While Peter was walking on water he took his eyes off Jesus, he focused on the wind and fear came into him; faith disappeared and he began to sink; he cried for help. Jesus rescued him. Jesus made it clear that the reason he sank was because he doubted Matthew 14:30-31. Another example is the centurion whose servant was sick. This centurion sent the elders of the Jews to appeal to Jesus on his behalf to come and heal his servant. Jesus agreed to go, but when Jesus was now very close to the centurion's house, the centurion sent another group of people to Jesus asking Him not to bother to come under his roof because he was not worthy to host Jesus. He said Jesus should speak the word and his servant would be healed. When Jesus heard this He marveled. Why did Jesus marvel? The man exercised great faith; the kind, according to Jesus, He had not found in Israel.

“……..25. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.”

“29. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.”
