TRIDYNE PROJECTS C O R P O R A T I O N Selected Projects: Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management for the Energy Industry Tridyne has extensive experience providing full EPCM services for oil projects and is well versed in conventional, in-situ and advanced recovery production practices. Tridyne has successfully completed numerous projects utilizing water flood, steam injection and acid gas injection techniques. Tridyne is a proven authority in all aspects of oil emulsion handling, measurement and treating. Choosing Tridyne for your next green field facility, existing plant upgrade or optimization project will have you working with dedicated individuals able to deliver an on-time and on-budget experience that satisfies your project’s goals and expectations. SAGD Tie-In This project included tie-ins for 30 SAGD well pairs. There are a total of 3 pads. Pad “A” consisted of 8 SAGD well pairs, Pad “B” consisted of 12 SAGD well pairs and Pad “C” of 10 SAGD well pairs. Pad “C” was designed to have up to 10 additional SAGD well pairs added in the future. Each of the pads has an associated test building. The work comprised the fabrication and instal- lation of the 3 new test packages, 3 new well pad control buildings, 30 well control manifold skids, new low-level piperacks, cable tray and wiring. Heavy Oil Tie-Ins The project scope on these heavy oil tie-ins included the installation of numerous electro- static treaters and associated systems. CO 2 Plant EPCM for the installation of a CO 2 miscible flood pilot. The pilot included the installation of a new group separator, CO 2 injection facilities, and production testing facilities. New pipelines were required for fuel gas, production, water and CO 2 injection. The project consisted of two 80 acre 5-spot patterns side by side. The patterns included 6 production wells and 2 water/CO 2 injection wells. In addition to the pattern wells, and in order to contain the CO 2 flood within the prescribed location, 6 fence water injection wells were also included in the project scope. A single non-pattern production well (16-20) was also tied into the new pilot. Tridyne uses the latest 3D modeling software to develop its conceptual designs and uses automated programs to develop construction drawings from the finished models. This approach ensures that a cost effective and highly accurate set of construction documents are delivered to the construction team ensuring a faster turnaround in the shop or field. The use of the 3D software also provides an effective tool to facilitate model reviews where operations can visualize the finished plant earlier in the project for timely input and buy-in

It is almost impossible to completely clean pipes which have contained heavy oils or polymers. When demolishing old pipelines there should be as many open ends as possible so that pressure cannot build up. Good access should be provided so that the burner or welder can escape readily if he needs to do so in the event of a fire. At home, it is equally important to properly dispose of any materials or containers that may contain flammables and not to store them next to possible sources of ignition

Tools:

X / W / Y PadsThe X pad scope included the tie in of 7 new CSS wells drilled at the new X-Pad located. The facilities will included a new Header Build-ing, MCC building, pop tank, low-level piper-acks with utilidors, and all associated steel piling, structural steel, cables, instruments and controls.

The W pad scope included 2 SAGD well pairs drilled at the W-Pad, located northwest of X-Pad. The facilities included a new header/test building, low-level piperacks with utilidors, and all associated steel piling, struc-tural steel, cables, instruments and controls.
