Our fundraising program provides organizations and individuals with the opportunity to raise funds for their programs, causes and initiatives. As a Consultant, it is your responsibility to make sure you fully understand the fundraising program so you and the organization you are partnering with can best maximize this opportunity. It is up to you to find organizations to work with, train the chairperson and sellers how to best share Jordan Essentials with others, and submit the final orders to Home Office. With Jordan Essentials, you are helping hands & helping hearts, one fundraiser at a time! Securing & Organizing a Successful Fundraiser 1. Make a list of all the organizations you would like to approach. 2. Using our Fundraising Materials, e-mail or mail a letter to the organization’s chairperson. 3. Contact each chairperson individually to ask if you can meet with them in person to discuss an exciting and profitable fundraising opportunity. 4. Research the history of the organization to determine their needs and causes. 5. Meet and present the PowerPoint presentation provided to you in your virtual office. 6. Leave behind our Successful Selling packet for them to review and samples for them to enjoy. Schedule a follow-up time to answer their questions. 7. At your follow-up meeting, start the application process with the organization and schedule your training sessions. 8. Set goals with the organization of how much they want to earn. Help them break this down into how much they need to sell. 9. Submit the application to home office. Also be sure to submit any customization requests at this time for the lotion bars. 10. Provide the organization with all necessary marketing materials and tally sheets. 11. Set a specific start and end date. 12. Let the fundraiser begin! 13. How do I get an organization to consider fundraising with Jordan Essentials?

1. Familiarize yourself with the fundraising program 2. Dress for success! Business etiquette and first impressions count, especially when meeting with corporate

organizations. 3. Practice your presentation. Be confident, knowledgeable and excited! 4. Walk them through the Successful Selling pdf so they can see how fun, simple and profitable our opportunity is.

Where do I send in the Fundraising Application?

You can scan/e-mail the fundraising application to [email protected]

What happens after the Application has been approved?

Once your organization’s application has been approved by the Home Office, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. At that time, the fundraising catalog will become available to you.

Who should pay for the brochures and thank you cards?

All other fundraising materials including the brochures are available for on demand printing in your back office.

How long should the fundraiser last?

The fundraiser should last for 2 weeks. This gives ample selling time plus ensures customers get their orders in a timely manner. It also encourages a sense of urgency to purchase.

What will the organization earn?

How does the organization get paid?

The organization will be able to keep their profits as soon as they collect money from their sellers. Jordan Essentials will only require 60% of the order total to be submitted. Plus shipping and sales tax if applicable.

How do I place a fundraising order?

You can place all fundraising orders through the ordering system in your back office/online business center via the Fundraising Catalog.

Are there any minimums for a Fundraising Order?

All fundraising orders must be at least $200 in retail sales.

What payment types are accepted?

Commissions, VISA, Mastercard and Discover, are all acceptable forms of payment.

What are the shipping costs?

Standard shipping rates apply.

Does the organization need to collect taxes?

Most organizations that choose to fundraise are tax exempt and if they provide Jordan Essentials with the required documents we will be able to avoid collecting tax. (Tax exemption certificate from the state the organization is established is required). You must contact the Home Office prior to entering your order to have the sales tax temporarily turned off your account.

However, if they do not have tax exempt designation, they will need to collect sales tax according to the tax rates in your area.

What will I earn?

You will earn your 25% base Retail commission on 60% of the retail sales. All other bonuses and leader overrides according to the compensation plan are also applied.
