Here is a short story of Glen McMullan’s recent trip out to Nellis AFB to pick up his 1990 M923A2. Glen writes - Some pics from the trip, the rental car showed 124 degrees outside temp about 30 minutes outside of St. George UT.

We were walking around in 112 degree heat, out of the sun and if felt like when you open the oven to get something out when it is done, but the heat just stays on you and it feels like ovens opened all around you. Las Vegas set a record one night we were there for highest low temp for a day, it was still 102 degrees at 4 am.

When we drove the truck home on Tuesday we were going thru 115 degree heat. We went thru Gatorade like crazy. When we got over Vail Pass it got down to 41 degrees. Traveled all night and that worked out good for the long hill climbs on Interstate 70 across Colorado. The truck slowed down to 40 mph on the big climbs but loaded tractor trailers get down to 15 mph on those hills. In Vegas I won a $946 jackpot on a slot machine. I had invested about $80 total on slots up to that point. We stayed at the Golden Nugget, had a great time. Glen
