School Association Christmas Fayre

What a wonderful morning we had last Friday at the Christmas Fayre. I was delighted to see many of you there enjoying the festivities with your children. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped to make this event a great success. We made £5004.71 from this event. This is a tremendous amount. Well done!

Playground Multi-Sports Pitch

Over the next couple of weeks our long awaiting multi-sports pitch will be installed in the playground. I have a meeting with the contractor next week who will be able to give me more details regarding dates and how long the works will take.

Choir Christmas Carol Concerts

The junior & senior choirs begin their Christmas concert tour around Leith this evening where they will perform at the Craigentinny Community Christmas Lights switch on. There are several venues and dates on their itinerary. Full details can be found on the website.

Nursery News

This week in nursery, we have been practising our nativity. The children have been working very hard. Just a reminder that the morning children will perform on Tuesday 12th December at 10.30am in the gym hall and the afternoon children will perform on Wednesday 13th December at 1.45pm in the school dinner hall. We hope you can come!

The children had the opportunity to bake scones for snack this week. We have enjoyed being outdoors in the garden in all weathers. Please make sure your child has warm outdoor clothes.

Can we remind everyone dropping off and picking up pupils to close ALL gates behind them. The gates nearer the front of the school should also be closed at all times. Thank you..
