MANUAL TRANSMISSIONThe gearboxes on the TRAKKER are a l l about ergonomics and performance . The manual gearbox comes in 16-speed var iants . The innovat ive 16-speed ZF Ecosplit 4 i s equipped with a servo-shift system for safer, more comfor table dr iv ing .

EUROTRONIC AUTOMATED TRANSMISSIONAs well as manual gearboxes, the TRAKKER offer s al l the technological excel lence of Eurotronic automated transmissions , which enhance dr iver comfor t with their steer ing-column-mounted shift lever. They offer ful ly automatic and semi-automatic modes: you choose which is best for the situation you’re in. With Eurotronic , the engine always runs in its most fuel-effic ient range , making the vehicle better and safer to drive.

The decompression engine brake on the Cursor engines, combined with the action of the variable-geometry or waste-gate turbo, depending on engine var iant, enables you to slow the vehicle down with less recourse to the ser vice brake and hence less demand on the wear par ts , thus extending maintenance inter vals, electronically controlled by ABS and EBL systems (for optimising brake force according to load), and ASR (anti-slip regulation) as an option.

ROBUST FRAMESThe fr ames of the TRAKKER are made of h igh-y ie ld-strength steel , ava i lable in two thicknesses : 7 .7 mm for appl icat ions where tare weight is a pr ior i ty, and 10 mm for the heaviest duty.The suspension systems are a lso highly robust and come in severa l types : mechanical with parabolic or semi-elliptical leaf springs for enhanced comfor t .

Constr uct ion wor k makes b ig demands on you and your veh ic le , but the upgr aded COMFORT o f the TRAKKER wi l l keep you go ing hour a f ter hour. The e f f i c ient a i r condi t ion ing system and the sound-proofing of the cab ensure top qua l i ty of l i fe on board , even in the most adver se condi t ions .

The TRAKKER is avai lable with three cab versions: day cab (HI-LAND) with standard roof, and sleeper cab (HI-TRACK) with low or high roof. And even the day cab ver sion offer s plenty of space behind the dr iver’s seat. Al l the cabs feature the functional and ergonomic new dashboard , made with top-qual ity, non-ref lective , soft-touch mater ials . The controls have been re-posit ioned around the dashboard and central area, to make them easi ly vis ible and accessible without rais ing your back from the seat. The new f loor is covered with wear-resistant, easy-to-clean mater ial . The layout of the inter ior offer s outstanding practical ity : the overhead windscreen storage has plenty of storage compar tments, and you’ l l find other cubby holes in the door s.

There i s rea l ly a room for ever yth ing , such as the new steering wheel, new upholstery and the new comfortable bunk to make you fee l a t home wherever you are ; not to ment ion the centr a l s tor age console , and even more space beh ind the dr iver ’s seat for c lothes hooks .

Ava i lable on 380 , 420 and 440 HP ver s ions , i t de l iver s h igh torque at low eng ine speed , thanks to the waste gate turbo system on 380 HP and 420 HP ver s ions and to the var iable geometr y turb ine on 440 HP ver s ion . The resu l t i s an improved acce ler at ion and dr iveab i l i ty and an increased dur ab i l i ty o f the c lutch and the gearbox . With d i sp lacement of 12 ,880 cm3 and in- l ine 6-cy l inder architecture , the Cur sor 13 a lso meets EURO 3 emiss ions s tandards . The in- l ine 6-cy l inder arch i tecture wi th overhead camshaf t and rear-mounted t iming gear gener ates less noise and vibration, while ensuring fluid respons iveness in ever y s i tuat ion, with obvious benefi ts for comfor t and engine l i fe .
