LIVE-ONLINE PROGRAMS (SYNCHRONOUS) Our live-online programming is delivered in a synchronous format where participants learn from faculty and peers in an interactive, high-impact virtual environment. Participants receive Booth's rigorous content in short, digestible sessions held over days or weeks. Live-online programming is often blended with offline activities, projects, and readings to deepen understanding of the materials.
ONLINE PROGRAMS (ASYNCHRONOUS)Our asynchronous (recorded) online sessions are designed to scale and reach hundreds, or more, executives and are often leveraged from our popular online open-enrollment programs. This format provides flexibly-timed learning for executives across diverse time zones. Participants often divide Booth’s intense content over multiple weeks, and our programming often provides multiple knowledge checks throughout. The benefit of this format is it allows busy global executives to learn Booth's rigorous content in a convenient schedule, and allows organizations

CLIENT: Global provider of risk management solutions, insurance and reinsurance,
human capital and management consulting
PARTICIPANTS: Roughly 45 of the company’s next-generation leaders from across the globe
THE CHALLENGE: Following many years of growth through mergers and acquisitions, the client
was determined to become a more globally integrated enterprise in order to support its global
strategy. The client wanted to develop its next generation of senior leaders in a high-energy and
open learning and discussion environment. Any solution needed to integrate with the client’s
existing leadership development process.
THE SOLUTION: Working closely with the client’s senior executives, Chicago Booth created
a high-impact, three-module program delivered in Chicago, London, and Singapore. Each
module incorporated a blend of academic content, client-specific discussions, and team
problem-solving/innovation sessions.
Becoming a more globally integrated enterprise

• Individual leadership and decision-making
The program also included inter-module team projects that were
supported by members of the client’s executive team.
OUTCOME AND IMPACT: The year following the program, 41
percent of participants received a promotion or increase in job
responsibility, and employee engagement scores of participants
and their direct reports rose 10 percent above those of their
peers. The firm reports that as a result of connections made
through the program, new business initiatives and efficiencies
have been developed. The program has since been held on an
annual basis with Booth.

CLIENT: Leading global food and beverage company with world-renowned household brands
PARTICIPANTS: More than 100 global finance senior directors from 19 countries
THE CHALLENGE: The client and its CFO wanted to grow high-potential finance executives within
the company and help them become 21st Century finance leaders who not only possessed
cutting-edge finance skills, but were also successful strategic thinkers, persuasive communicators,
and global leaders.
THE SOLUTION: Collaborating closely with
the client and its senior executives, Chicago
Booth designed and delivered a high-impact
program to help executives:
• Build cutting-edge finance skills
• Understand the external environment and utilize “outside-in” strategic thinking
• Become a strategic business partner
• Identify new ventures and business opportunities
• Communicate compelling financial stories
FORMAT: The program was comprised of
lectures, discussions, and small-group action
learning projects. The multi-module program
was delivered over a 9-month period in
person at Chicago Booth’s global campuses as well as virtually via an online platform. The program
included a week-long residency in finance and strategy. Additionally, an action learning project
allowed the executives to activate new learning by engaging in new venture strategy.
OUTCOME AND IMPACT: The program received the firm's prestigious "HR Excellence Award". A
number of program participants were soon promoted to division CFOs within the firm, and several
new product ideas stemming from the program were chosen for development and implementation.

THE CHALLENGE: The client sought to develop its top talent to become more innovative and
global in their approaches. The client wanted to help its executives improve their capabilities
in leadership, management in changing circumstances, and market agility—in addition to
broadening their international perspectives and expertise in the global economy and
financial markets.
THE SOLUTION: Collaborating closely with the client, Chicago Booth created a high-impact,
multiweek program comprised of lectures, discussions, industry speakers, and company visits.
The program, held at Chicago Booth’s historic Hyde Park campus, provided an immersive
