First and foremost, KUDOS to all the children of the Hari Om Parivar, for putting up a Grand Show on the 20th
of July – YOUTH NIGHT!!! It was an amazing showcase of talent & confidence prevailing amongst our kids.
Each and Every Participant deserves a special mention for their outstanding performance…be it the youngest,
cute little girls, Pavika & Diya, or the smart young Guys who presented the Comedy Skit “Growing up in USA”.
The MC’s of the evening, Rinna Talwar & Sonika Menon, did a great job with handling the entire program on
time. My SINCERE THANKS to all the Parents who put in extra efforts to encourage the kids to come forward
and perform amazingly well. My Thanks to Mona Sharma and Tushar Sharma for coordinating the program
successfully.
A friendly reminder for ALL…India’s Independence Day is on the 15th of August… we shall be celebrating on
Sunday, the 11th in our regular Sunday Congregation. Due to the construction project going on, we shall not be
having any outdoor activity, like the Parade March & Flag Hoisting – however, we shall celebrate with great
pride and enthusiasm, inside the hall. Please join us in singing Patriotic Songs to glorify our Motherland and
pay tributes to the martyrs of our Nation. I would like to encourage everyone to be a part of the National
Spirit, wear the colors of our Flag – Saffron White & Green – and show your solidarity to your country.
I am also pleased to share with you that 2 new Priests from India have arrived, and will now be available to
help you with all the religious ceremonies / Poojas / Karam Kand rituals etc. in the temple, or at your home.
Both are very learned and are well versed with the Hindu Scriptures and the Vedas. Pandit Dharmendra Bhatt
from Gujrat, is an expert in carrying out all the traditions and rituals of Sanatan Dharm Poojas. Acharya Ram
Naresh Vajpayee from Delhi, is an expert on singing & narrating Kathas – Bhagwat/Ramayan/Geeta Updesh
etc. Our very own Pandit Dinesh Ji continues to serve the Temple, now as the Head Priest and will always be at
your service.
We shall be celebrating Lord Krishna’s Birth “Janamashtmi” on Saturday, the 24th of August from 8pm to
Midnight 12am. I invite you all to come and seek His Blessings on this pious occasion. Special arrangement for
a Bhajan Sandhya with renowned singers is being made to welcome the Lord with chanting, ringing bells and
dancing.
As always, please share your views, suggestions and feedback for the progress and growth of the Temple. I
along with my Team of dedicated members, would like to serve the Community in the best possible way.
