HISTORYCOEM was founded in 1990 with the purpose of providing Engineering, Mounting and Mainte-nance services for industrial facilities in the areas of Electricity, Instrumentation and Control.

In 1991 starts its activity with a maintenance contract for electrical and instrumentation units of Off-Sites, Expedition and the PETROGAL (GALP) Porto Refinery Marine Terminal.

In 1991 establishes a partnership with ROSEMOUNT for the assistance and configuration of RS3 Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

In 1996 wins a three-year contract for the maintenance of Base Oils, Gasoline and Aromatics factories and the PETROGAL (GALP) Utilities Harbour Refinery.

As a result of strong investment in human and material resources over a number of years, COEM has been solidifying its business, its experience and its know-how, thus gaining the trust of its customers.

In 2010 celebrates 20 years of sustained activity, proud of its achievements but geared towards the future.

In 1992 expands its activity to the development of Engineering Projects and Construction Works.

In 2008 starts expanding its operations in Angola.
