Day 1 and 2 USA to the Holy LandYour spiritual pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on anovernight flight. You will be welcomed to the Holy Land byour airport representative and transferred to your hotel. Travelto the countryside of the Galilee. Enjoy dinner before yourest overnight in your Galilee hotel.

Day 3 Mt. Arbel, Nazareth, Mount of Precipice,Sepphoris Travel to Mount Arbel and walk along its peakfor a stunning view of the Sea of Galilee and the area inwhich Jesus ministered, with extended views of Mt. Hermonin the north and Mt. Tabor in the south. It is a magnificentphoto opportunity. Visit Nazareth, the boyhood home ofJesus (Matthew 2: 23) and the Mount of Precipice, whereLuke describes how Jesus was rejected by those in the syna-gogue after He taught them. Filled with anger they “led himunto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, thatthey might cast him down headlong” (Luke 4: 29). Explorethe Nazareth Village, a living presentation of the life, times,and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Visit Sepphoris, the cos-mopolitan Roman capital of Galilee until Herod Antipas builtTiberias. It is heralded as the traditional birthplace of Mary.

Day 4 Hazor, Tel Dan, Mt. Hermon, Caesarea Philippi, &Golan Heights Explore Hazor, one of the oldest archaeo-logical sites in Israel. The 3000 year old city was the inspirationfor The Source, James Michener’s epic history of the region.Here, Joshua fought against Jabin (Josh. 11: 1-11). Hazor waslater fortified by Solomon. At nearby Tel Dan, see the mudbrick arch constructed in pre-Israelite (Canaanites) times andwhere The House of David fragment-from the First TemplePeriod-was discovered. Visit Caesarea Philippi, where Jesustraveled with His disciples and where nearby Peter made hisgreat confession to Jesus, “Thou art the Christ, the Son ofthe living God” (Matt. 16: 16). Continue on to Mount Her-mon, probably the site of the Lord’s Transfiguration (Matt.17: 1-9). Travel on through the strategic tableland known asthe Golan Heights.

Day 5 Nof Ginosar, Capernaum Mt. of Beatitudes,Kursi, Bethsaida Watch the sunrise over the Sea of Galileewhere fishermen work the waters with nets much as in the timeof Jesus. Ride across the waters to explore Capernaum, thecenter of Jesus’ ministry. Visit the synagogue which stands onthe site where Jesus taught. Recall his teaching and preachingthe gospel of the kingdom (Matt.4:13, 23). Visit the peacefulMount of Beatitudes which overlooks the Sea of Galilee.On this hill, Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Notfar away is Bethsaida, where Jesus chose five of his disciples(Matt. 4: 18-21; John 1: 39-51). Visit Chorazim, the towncursed by Jesus because He did mighty works there and they“repented not” (Matt. 11: 21). On the far shore of the sea isKursi, where Jesus cast out evil spirits from a demon-pos-sessed man and cast them into a group of swine which ran vi-olently down a steep hill and drowned in the sea (Mark 5: 1-13).

Day 6 Yardenit Baptismal Site, Gideon’s Spring, Mt.Gilboa, Megiddo At the Yardenit Baptismal site, situatedwhere the Jordan River flows out of the Sea of Galilee onits way to the Dead Sea, enjoy the peace and tranquility of thenatural surroundings and participate in a baptismal service inthe river in which Christ was baptized by John the Baptist(Mark 1: 9-11). Next, visit Gideon’s Spring (Ein Harod)where Gideon chose his army of 300 by observing how theydrank from the springs (Jd. 7). The spring is in the shadowof Mount Gilboa where Saul fought and died. His deathmade David lament and pray that no dew would fall on themountain (2 Sam. 1:19-27). You will view the mountain andsee that, to this day, Mount Gilboa is bare of trees. Travel theancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo, where 20 differentcities lie superimposed upon each other, and where Solomonbuilt his stables.

Day 7 Caesarea, Emmaus & Ein Karem Visit Caesarea,where you will see the ancient Roman aqueduct and theatre.View the road of Emmaus where Jesus, after His resurrec-tion, met two of his disciples who did not recognize Him untilHe later broke bread with them in their home. Continue toEin Karem, traditionally known as the birthplace of John theBaptist, and where tradition holds that Mary journeyed toshare with Elisabeth her good news (Luke 1: 39-48).

Day 8 Jerusalem, Mt. of Olives, Bethlehem, Mt. Zion, UpperRoom, City of David, Garden of Gethsemane In Jerusalem,view Hezekiah’s Tunnel, walk to the Garden of Gethse-mane via the Kidron Valley and pray there as Jesus prayed(Matt. 26: 36-44). Stand atop the Mount of Olives as Jesusdid and enjoy a remarkable view of the “Golden City” ofJerusalem. Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascendedinto heaven from the Mount of Olives (Acts 1: 9-12). OnMount Zion view the site of King David’s Tomb. Stand inthe Upper Room, revered as the site of the Last Supper(Mark 14: 12-26). In Bethlehem, visit the cave where Jesuswas born and the church, constructed on the site (Matt. 1: 18-25; Luke 2: 1-7). Nearby, view the Shepherds’ Field wherethe Good News was first heard.

Day 9 Southern Wall Excavations, Teaching Steps, WesternWall, Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, & the GardenTomb Visit the Davidson Center and the Southern WallExcavations including the Teaching Steps and the WesternWall. View the Pool of Bethesda (John 5: 1-31) where Jesusperformed the Sabbath miracle. Visit Herod’s AntoniaFortress where Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate (Luke23: 1-11). Walk the Via Dolorosa, the “Way of the Cross,”and stand in reverence at the Church of the Holy Sepul-chre. Visit the Garden Tomb, the possible site of the gardenof Joseph of Arimathea, and experience the reality of theResurrection.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is based on double occupancy. When available, single rooms are often smaller than dou-bles.While EOT will try to match roommates, EOT cannot guarantee a roommate will be available.Roommates may be assigned as late as 35 days prior to departure and, if one is not available oryou request a single room, the following charges apply: $548 during the basic week; $368 for Cairo;$548 for Red Sea Cruise; $518 for Nile Cruise; $268 for Jordan.

AIRLINE ROUTES and TICKETS:In order to keep prices low, EOT does not guarantee the most direct routing to your final destination. Once “printed”, airline tickets cannot be changed or refunded thereafter. Air transportation to/from your destination will be economy class on IATA and ARC carriers utilizing APEX or SUPER APEXnon-refundable, non-amendable tickets for groups of 10 or more flying together on entire itinerary.

FLIGHT TIMES:All flight times are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. EOT is not responsible for such changes or delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting fromsuch delays. If making own flight arrangements to departure city, we recommend you purchase aticket which can be changed without large penalties.

ITINERARY CHANGES:Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this brochure. While you will see all siteslisted in this brochure, the order of sites and/or days and number of days may be altered to accom-modate changes in airline, hotel schedules, and local conditions. Due to airline schedules, someparticipants may receive one or two extra leisure days at a nominal per day charge and some ex-tensions may not be available on all departure dates. If itinerary changes necessitate extra overnights,you will be charged $100 per night; single rooms $180 per night. Meals for extra nights are not in-cluded.

CANCELLATION FEES: 100% of Cancellation Fees are covered by the optional Travel Protection Program provided premium has been paid and reason for cancellation is insurable. Those who do not taketravel protection should be aware of the following cancellation penalties: From day of reg-istration to 105 days prior to departure, you will be charged the $100 non-refundable admin-istrative fee plus any airline fees. Additionally, thereafter, you will be charged any airlinepenalties and a single room supplement if your cancellation forces your roommate into asingle plus the following charges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days = $600; 44-31 days = 40%of total cost; 30 days to day of departure = 100% of total cost. In addition, cancellation feesfor Red Sea and Nile Cruise are: 59-31 days = 25% of extension cost; 30-0 days = 100%. Sub-mit cancellation in writing. On or after day of departure, no refund for any services not used.

FIT TO TRAVEL STATEMENT:Passengers registering for the tour accept the responsibility for being in good health andable to walk and travel on the tour. Because many of the sites are not accessible to the phys-ically challenged , those needing wheelchairs, oxygen, or other ambulatory assistance willfind the tour extremely limiting in their experiences.
