How to take images to create a joiner

• You need to remember to take enough photographs so that they can overlap when you join them together in Photoshop.

• Stay stood still when taking your photographs. Move your body not your feet!

• Have a focal point you can get close to.• Work up and down as well as across• Use the manual setting on your camera if you have it.• Make sure you do not use a wide angle lens – if you do the

images will be distorted and will not join together well.

Task 6 – Part 1

This morning you will need to go out and take the photographs so that this afternoon we can upload them to the computer and create your joiner.

You can either take your images around the college, or go in to town. Find something interesting to photograph!
