edited by Agent Number 6. Hollywood Startm is a Hollywood Public School magazine and newspaper that

mainly talks about news inside and outside of school. We are going to give you a lot of information about school and local happenings. We will have other off-topic articles too and jokes all round. And last, but not least, we will not get

World War III May Start!

Andrew Scheer Resigns!

Andrew Scheer, the leader of the Conservatives, has resigned. Here are the reasons: (1) he said it was causing stress to his family and (2) after the 2019 election the Conservatives panicked that he might lose the next election. He is still the leader but only temporarily, as someone else will replace him soon. I (Alex) personally think that he was the reason why the Conservatives lost the election. Scheer (says Adam) is innocent. It’s just that everyone loves the Liberals and Justin Trudeau. I think Scheer is cruel! Good thing he is being replaced (not to be mean or anything) (says Erke). Andrew Scheer was running for prime minister, which isn’t wrong, but he took it too far. Making fun of the current prime minister when Scheer himself wasn’t, was not exactly what you call a wise decision (says Linda).

School is back!

School is back and it is a new year. However, some people are disappointed. (Alex says) - well I feel like we were going to go back there at some point, right? Erke thinks a new year can change people, which is sometimes good. You can also get a fresh start. Linda says as some people say, even if you have success, the new year is always a time to set new goals for yourself. Liam says you should stay in school and get a good job. Boy, am I looking forward to a new year!

British Election results

The British election has happened and we wanted to tell you the results. Boris Johnson and the Conservative party won with 43.6% of the country voting for them. Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour party got second place with 32.2% of the country voting for them. Really, the only other parties worth mentioning are the Liberal Democrats (Jo Swinson being their leader) who got only 11.6% and the Scottish National Party (Nicola Sturgeon being their leader) with only 3.9%. Between the top 2 parties, it was a huge but Boris came out on top easily and now he is going to deliver Brexit. The funny thing is that all the other parties were not willing to do so. The Labour Party says it will create a four day week.

Illuminati Theory

The Illuminati have been undermining the USA for a long time. The first shred of evidence lies in John F Kenedy’s (JFK) sad death. Here is a brief summary of what happened. JFK was in a car with no roof driving through Dallas,Texas and some guy shot him but it hit the driver. Somehow the bullet “turned” in mid-air and hit JFK. Now, that is not possible so there must have been another shooter. But, wait, there is more! When the first shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, was being interviewed another guy, Jack Ruby, came and shot him! For even more evidence, the files involving his murder disapeared! This is where I come in. You see, JFK was getting rid of certain members of the government and if my theory is right -and it is- some of those members were with the FBI who are merged with the Illuminati so they had to take action and that action is murdering JFK and they have been in the USA ever since…

The United States was formed in 1776 when America became independent from the United Kingdom during the

American Revolution (1775 to 1783). After growing a bit more the USA went into the US Civil War (1861 to 1865). In the end the North won the war. Then in 1914, World War I (1914 to 1918) started and America did not join the war until 1917. With its help the Allied powers (UK, USA and France) defeated the Central powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary and Turkey). Then Nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and a World War II (1939 to 1945) began. America joined the Allies in 1941 after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. In the end the United States dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, ending World War II. Then the Cold War rivalry (1947 to 1991) began. In 1957 the Soviets launched the Sputnik 1 satellite. Then America launched Apollo 11 so America won the space race in Apollo missions to the moon. Next, in 2001 terrorist group Al Qaeda destroyed the Twin Towers.Then, in 2017 Donald Trump became president and in 2021 America MAY go from democratic to Dictatorship.

The Revenge of the Haunted Duo

Avi and Sara were running down the volcano at top speed. Why, you may be asking? It was because the haunted sweater and his pal, the creepy pants were chasing them! Then Sara tripped and fell on Avi and they rolled down the volcano for the second time that day. It was painful but it was the fastest way down. But the duo was right still behind them! Sara was horrified but Avi was not. He knew what to do. He was going to trick them! He told Sara his plan. When the haunted duo came to the bottom they saw a weird sight. Some pretty underwear was dancing! Both of the clothes fell head over heels. It said, “who will be my husband”. Both of them said, “me!”. But then they realized something. She could only marry one of them. They looked at each other and then started fighting. By now, you have probably realized that it was a trick from Avi and Sara. Whose underwear it was I can not and will not tell you. While the duo was fighting each other they went up higher on the volcano and pushed a boulder which rolled on the duo. They were stuck under there forever… or were they? To be continued….

The Impeachment of Trump

Donald Trump, the 45th president of the U.S.A, is going to be impeached. The event occurred on December 18, 2019. The House of Representatives approved articles of impeachment, charging an abuse of power, as well as the obstruction of Congress. When an impeachment vote passes the House of Representatives it goes to the Senate which conducts a trial. In this case the question to be decided is whether President Trump asked Ukraine to do his dirty work in the upcoming election campaign by telling them that they would only get financial aid if they investigated the son of the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden. In basic court rules, you need some witnesses and Trump is telling people not to testify but former National Security Adviser John Bolton is willing to do just that. This may be a problem to Trump.

Prince Philip lands in hospital! By: Erke Baitukenova

Queen Elizabeth’s husband, as well known for Prince Philip, has been hospitalized in London on Friday December 20th, 2019. Philip, who has been dealing with a series of health issues and underwent hip surgery at the hospital last year, announced in May 2017 that he would retire from public life. No reason has been given to the people of england. Prince Philip is fine, but will not be in public, and he will be in hospital for a while.

Queen Elizabeth I

Born to King Henry the 8th and Henry’s second wife, Anne Boleyn, Elizabeth had a rather tragic childhood. Her mother Queen Anne, was beheaded when Elizabeth was only 2 and a half years old. Not long after, her father married Jane Seymour. They had a son and Henry named him Edward but Jane died while giving child birth. By now, Elizabeth’s father had married a lot of women, and had forgotten Elizabeth. Nonetheless, Elizabeth grew up to become a fine, well-educated, young woman. She knew how to speak French, Flemish, Spanish, Italian, Welsh, Cornish, Scottish, and Irish. She reigned over England for 44 years. During her reign, Elizabeth did many things men thought women could not do. She alone, defeated King Philip of Spain. And her legacy still lives on…….

 The Mariana Trench    The Mariana Trench is an arc-shaped trench, located in the Western Pacific, east of the Mariana Islands near Guam. It has a depth of 36,100 feet. It is the deepest place on Earth and many people wonder if the Megladon still lives inside it. There are many strange and wonderful creatures scientists have discovered over the years. It is quite mysterious and people say that we know more about Mars than the Mariana Trench.

Donald Trump is facing an uproar by the Iran Government due to Trump sending a drone to attack Iran. Trump says that he did it to protect Americians, but why did he do it to protect Americianis? Maybe he thought Iran was dangerous to America, but all he did was upset Iran for no reason. In the drone attack, he killed Soleimani, the top Iranian general who was liked very much by citizens. Which angered Iran greatly. People in Iran were even ripping up USA flags on the street. This might help in Trump’s impeachment and ruin his chances to be re-elected. And this might start into an ugly world war 3!

Nikola Tesla By Chris Liang

Most people know the Tesla EV cars and trucks, but do you know why it’s called a Tesla and who (he) is? He was the closest you could get to a genius. Born and raised in the Austrian Empire, Nikola Tesla studied engineering and physics in the 1870s but didn’t receive a degree. Nikola wanted to develop inventions he could patent and market, so he conducted a range of experiments with mechanical generators, electrical discharge tubes, and early X-ray imaging. Tesla became a famous inventor and showed his newest inventions to celebrities and wealthy people at his lab. Through the 1890s, Tesla pursued his ideas for wireless lighting and worldwide wireless electric power distribution in high-frequency power experiments in New York and Colorado Springs. Tesla tried to put these ideas to practical use in his unfinished Wardenclyffe Tower project.

“Houston we have a problem!” stated Jim Lovel! The oxygen tank exploded while the were trying to cool it down! Houston raced to find a solution. They decided to orbit the moon and let the speed and a few burns take them back to Earth. They raced against time to save energy and a handful of really smart scientists helped develop a CO2 removal using the CM LiOH canisters they had on board. They piled into the command module and separated from the lunar module. With a bit of luck they splashed down in the Pacific Ocean and survived.

Titanic II is an ocean liner under construction by billionaire Clive Palmer (below). (Above is a top and port (left) side view of Titanic II). It was originally going to be launched in 2016 but then Clive Palmer ran into financial difficulties and it was delayed to 2018 and then again to 2022. Work resumed on the Titanic II on November, 2018 and it will be launched on a drydock. Unlike the Titanic I, Titanic II is not British but Australian. Clive Palmer is an Australian. Titanic II will have a welded hull instead of riveted. When the Titanic hit the iceberg the rivets popped open allowing water to gush in.Titanic II will have 20 more lifeboats.That way everyone on the ship can be saved. If you look at the side diagram it shows the propellers at the bottom facing towards the bow, the original ship’s propellers are mounted in a rudder facing the opposite direction.

2022 Rolls Royce Vision 100x

The Rolls Royce Vision 100x is a high-tech car with everything that you can imagine and will most likely to come out in 2022, which is a long time from now. But it is equipped with automatic opening doors and extendable wheels and a beautiful silver coat. On the inside it has top-class leather seats that are heated, and an iPad where you can listen to music or set up a GPS system. The Rolls Royce logo will be made out of glass as you see in the picture up above. The car has no steering wheel so it drives it-self with every advanced automatic safety feature. The car has yet to come out and will cost about $1,000,000, though the real price is still unknown. It may not be fast but it sure is one piece of gold. You won’t be seeing it on the streets that often due to the price. But just by looking at it, who wouldn’t want one.

Australian Wild Bush fire

Wildfires are raging through Australia and they are killing tons upon tons of wildlife including plants and animals. Around 23 people have died and the wildfires are getting worse and worse every day. Brave firefighters are trying to hold them back with no success. Luckily, the firefighters have stopped the fires from spreading. We can only hope the situation gets better.

Youtube Channel We at the Hollywood Startm may be starting a Youtube Channel! We have not decided fully on the idea yet but it may be happening. Here is what some of us have to say about this: I (Alex) am thinking that this idea is pure genius! (Ylan): It sounds exciting! (Liam) Yes! I can’t wait! But no sharing personal identity!

What is the trouble with Tik Tok? By: Erke

Tik Tok is a good app. But something is wrong with it. I heard the users of tik tok got stalked and hacked. I personally think that is terrifying, because you can get hacked and people may find your address, and you can get robbed and murdered. That is quite terrifying! But a good thing about it is that you can earn money! Yes real money! However you have to be Tik Tok famous to earn money. But while you become famous, many things can happen to you! Like I said previously, you can get hacked, stalked e.t.c. So be careful!

Ylan for President! By: Liam! And Alex and Chris (with help from Ylan) (Liam: I’m sad :( I lost)

Hollywood Star worker Ylan Lago has become the new President of the Hollywood Star! He recently joined when we were making the December edition but now look at what happened! Here is the short version. We held tests to decide who would become C.O.O. The top 2 people were Ylan and Linda with the same mark (91%) and Liam had not gone yet. Linda did something that got herself disqualified. Then it was down to Liam and Ylan. It is the big reveal now. It turned out that Liam got 2 marks lower than Ylan so Ylan was the winner and new C.O.O! Liam: I’m super sad because I’m a runner-up but hey! I may get a promotion!!! Then we split he became the boss. Alex and Chris still own it (Alex: heh heh heh). While how did he turn to president? Turns out that Alex and Chris made a new company that bought the Hollywood Star and the Hollywood Sun. Then Alex and Chris resigned from the Hollywood Star and was the head of MN&C, the new company they created.

The world is full of lots of problems including pollution. We need to stop this! Sad fact: When you heat up your cars, you waste gas and pollute the planet. So Don’t idle your car while waiting in it.

Alex Hits The Highscore For Tom’s Gold Run! (allstars 2020)

Everyone knows Subway Surfers, right. Well, we aren’t talking about it. We are talking about Tom’s Gold Run, the cheaper version of Subway Surfers! So anyway Alex was playing Tom’s Gold Run. Everybody was waiting for him to

beat the highscore (over 1,800,000) he died once but saved himself. The tension was rising! Sarah (All Stars supervisor) told him it was the “last game” but it took forever for him to run into something. But then, he hit 2,000,000! Everyone was cheering and Sarah was too impressed to end the game. But when he got to the Temple (the hardest part), and he died trying to jump onto the platform. Instead, he flopped in water. But the important thing is he got (estimated: 2,460,200) and beat the highscore!
