Littlephant is founded by me Camilla Lundsten, I am also the designer of our products, author

and illustrator. At Littlephant we believe in creating functional, high quality comfortable

products for you, your kids and your home. Products that put a smile on your face. Products

that encourage your creative thinking and that simplify your every day life.

The Littlephant studio is based in Stockholm. Our products are designed with a Swedish attitude,

marrying our Scandinavian heritage with contemporary warmth and functional thinking. All

decorated with unique patterns or characters from the world of Littlephant.

Let us present our fi rst Wallpaper collection, a collaboration

with our beloved partner the Swedish Wallpaper factory

Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik.

The fi rst collection is a homage to our Scandinavian design

heritage and created with three things in mind:

To bring true comfort to your home, to use climate clever,

durable materials and to proudly carry on our Nordic

traditions of production.

Everything is produced in tune with nature and

made in Sweden.

WALLPAPER

OUR RELATIONSHIP TO NATURE

The colour scale is based on the natural colours

from my habitat, the Stockholm Archipelago and

the summer cottage from the 1890’s where I grow

up. At the time is was built using only natural

materials. Ingredients like egg, linseed oil, water,

feldspar, soap and pigment was used to mix paint,

making the colour look and feel truly natural.

The soft, dusty shades of Blue, Aqua and Grey in

our collection are inspired by the colours found in

the cottage and by the nature and weather surroun-

ding the islands. Somehow those honest colours

always make people feel at home, no matter if you

live in a city apartment or in a house on the country

side. I guess nature have that eff ect on us.

OUR RESPECT FOR NATURE

The print colours used for our wallpaper production

are all water based and toxic free and surplus colours

are re-used. The paper we use is non-woven. A mix

of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifi ed

paper from responsible sources and synthetic

fi bres from recycled pet bottles, which today is the

best way to make a durable and long lasting product

(possible to clean). Both for the sake of mankind

and nature. It is ÖKO-Tex standardized with a

certifi cation of 100. The energy used for production

is climate compensated.

So here we go! The fi rst wallpaper for Littlephant in

collaboration with people we believe in deeply, our

beloved partner Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik. A true

work of craftsmanship from all of us to you. Printed

with traditional techniques and with colours and

patterns from the world of Littlephant, designed by

me.

A MAGICAL COLLABORATION

When we met the founders of the new Swedish

Wallpaper factory Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik, it was

love at fi rst sight.

Anna Andén, CEO, and Thomas Johansson, Colour

Master have been working in this magical factory

since way back. It was built in 1985 and founded

on the wallpaper-making traditions of the town

Ulricehamn dating back to the 1850’s.

The Factory, located by the lake Åsunden in the

south of Sweden, is the most amazing, magical

place bursting with tradition and knowledge. When

these two seasoned professionals got the oppor-

tunity to buy the factory they managed to give it

a new life by combining history and traditions with

the most modern production technologies. By re-

alising their dream, they ensure that this craft will

carry on and prosper.

A NEW ERA - VISION AND PASSION

Anna and Thomas have created new visions and

combined these with their expertise and years of

experience from making the most beautiful pieces

for your walls. All with great attention to details,

truly wonderful quality and craftsmanship. They

have brought new life and spirit into the buildings

and machines. I have never met a person like

Thomas who is as completely crazy as I am about

fi nding and physically mixing amazing colours.

LITTLEPHANTS FIRST WALLPAPER

COLLECTION

The fi rst collection is a homage to our Scandinavian

design heritage and created with three things in

mind: To bring true comfort to your home, to use

climate clever materials and to proudly carry on

our Nordic traditions of production. The collection

of ten wallpapers has a defi ned Littlephant attitu-

de in both style and quality. Three of them are our

classical prints; Fruit Garden, Aquatic and Waves,

while the new designs Nobel Nymphs, Meadow and

Fairytale Fox are launched for the fi rst time.


The paper we use for our wallpapers is non-woven. It is a mix

of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifi ed paper from

responsible sources and synthetic fi bres from recycled pet-

bottles, which today is the best way to make a durable and

long lasting product.

It is ÖKO-Tex standardized with a certifi cation of 100. The

print colours used for our wallpaper production are all water

based and toxic free. Surplus colours are re-used and all waste

from our production can be re-cycled.

AQUATIC

Aquatic is inspired by the salty waters of the Mediterranean sea, with its white coral

sand and the creatures living there. This pattern will for sure give you the feeling of

Imagine a meadow where the tall grass is dancing in the wind creating a pattern,

like poetry in motion. Nature has it all and this pattern is made to cover your walls

and to create that everlasting fl owing meadow in your home. Giving your room

harmony through its rhythm and colours but also through the tactility of the printing

technique. When the paint is absorbed by the paper it has a naturalness to it that one

In 2015 our Fruit Garden pattern was launched and awarded the Swedish Elle

Decoration Design Award for best fabric. Since then it s been one of our most

popular patterns, with its organic shapes, rhythm and size. The pattern is a homage

to Camillas Grandfather, who was a gardener and early on taught her about the

importance of nature and how to respect it. The pattern will give you the magical

feeling of having your own garden.

WAVES

Our classical pattern Waves was launched in 2011 in our home textile collection.

It rapidly became a favourite and is one of our most loved and used style. Now it s fi nally

available as wallpaper. It works wonders for both kids rooms and all other spaces in your

home. It creates a natural fl ow to your room, giving it a very soft yet graphic touch.


Every pattern has its story and this one is about the powers of the Noble Nymphs,

a pattern playing with perceptions. At fi rst sight you notice the poetic swans

harmoniously fl oating in their pond. When looking closer under the surface, the

Noble Nymphs are working their magic, making the water lilies grow, bringing energy

to these waters and keeping them fresh and alive. It is a collaboration between the
